So his pleading guilty means that the details won't come out? I hope they don't...I don't want to know any more...I don't want her mom to have to hear what he did to her baby.

But Sandra Cantu's murderer pled guilty and the GJ testimony is public...????

Police believe Brunn took the girl to a vacant apartment, where he killed her. According to an indictment, Brunn bound Rivera's hands with plastic ties and taped a rag into her mouth before he beat her with a "hammer-like object," cut her throat and stabbed her in the chest.

Authorities said Brunn also molested the girl.

Does this mean she was not raped? Or is "rape" and "molest" used interchangably?

I hope this doesn't mean that they are not still investigating past places he lived, etc. I think there may be more in his background that needs to be checked. jmo

Thank goodness...I have felt that LE had the right person from the start and was surprised that several people thought he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, i.e a victim of police. Am always relieved when a suspect will plead to avoid a trial as long as the sentence is life, or at least close to life. JMO

Her loved ones will never get over this but at least they won't have the additional burden of him possibly getting out of answering for this.

Here is what Jon Lews said...

He said this in court. I was there. I'm a reporter. He told the judge during his plea that he found her skate and decided to use it to coax her to the apartment.
