This is my hometown. After an altercation in the cafeteria, a student shot another student in the hand. The victim and shooter were the two involved in the altercation.
There are no metal detectors at any of the schools.
This shooting follows on the heels of several fights at Butler High School the day before. Two students were arrested, along with a mother and daughter who came to the school and barged past the police office (assigned to the school).
