Jackson County Resident is Missing

Jefferson, Georgia – May 23, 2013

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person known as Joshua Scott Adams. Adams was last seen on May 21, 2013 in the area of 1145 Brockton Loop in Jefferson, Ga.

Adams’ description is as follows:
Adams is a 25 year-old white male. He is about 6’3” in height and weights 215 lbs. Adams has brown eyes and short brown hair. Adams also has a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder and chest and a tattoo of “AVA” on his right foot.
Adams was last seen on foot wearing tan shorts and a green long sleeve shirt.

A farm pond previously searched by divers was being drained Wednesday as authorities continued to search for a missing 25-year-old Jackson County man.

The family of a Jackson County man is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who knows his location.

Adams car was found about 7:30 a.m. May 21. Found in the vehicle were Adams’ wallet, with identification, $25 in cash, and Adams’ cellphone. Deputies checked the phone and located two men whom Adams called prior to his disappearance.
“We tracked them down and interviewed them and no new leads were established through these contacts,” Lott said.

The reward money for information leading to the whereabouts of a missing Jackson County man was doubled recently, but it has not generated any strong leads, authorities said Tuesday.

The family of 25-year-old Joshua Adams of Nicholson upped the reward to $20,000.

A loved one posted on the comments of Kelsie Lee, who was just found, that she is still looking for Josh. Seems it is the same area. How heartbreaking for her to see other people found and she has nothing to go on.

Missing Georgia man could be in Southwest Michigan, police say; $50,000 reward offered

Police in Georgia are seeking the public's help in finding a missing man, who investigators say could be in Southwest Michigan.

Joshua Scott Adams, 27, has been missing since May 20, 2013, according to the Jackson County (Ga.) Sheriff's Office. Detective Dale Dillow said Adams had recently gotten out of a rehabilitation facility in Battle Creek and returned to his Georgia home when he went missing.
