I hope that she is safe. On the Columbus PD Facebook, the replies to a recent comment by JHS are very concerning.

That is so strange because the Columbus PD hasn't stated anything on FB. And Columbus EMS states she's still missing as of 2 hours ago in a comment to a question on their missing post posted 3 hours ago. I wish an official organization would clear this up.

the body of a missing five year old girl which drew a frantic search over the last 24 hours was discovered in Phenix City.

A suspect is currently in custody in the Russell County jail facing capitol murder charges.

Kamarie Holland went missing early Monday morning, the five-year-old was last seen on Bowman Street. Columbus Police Department issued a missing persons alert early Monday morning and it was canceled late Monday night.

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office is actively working the case, Sheriff Heath Taylor told News 3 there is a news conference scheduled for later this morning.
