Perhaps we should look at Alabama cases as well?

Looks like it's just off the railroad tracks, which makes me think that a transient person is a possibility. In which case they probably weren't reported missing and they could be from anywhere. Hopefully they found some clues.

LAGRANGE, Ga. (AP) — Human remains found last year in the City of LaGrange were recently identified as a missing man from the area.

The LaGrange Daily News reports LaGrange police Sgt. Robert Kirby says the man was identified as Johnny Redden, by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's crime lab. Redden would have been in his 50s.
