Friday, March 23rd:
*Arraignment Hearing re red below (@ ET) - GA - LaTania 'Janell' Carwell (16) (April 17, 2017) - *Tanya Faye Tripp (35) "mom" accused of hindering apprehension of criminal & concealing a death; bond set at $500K.
*Leon Lamarr Tripp (38) step-dad accused of homicide & kidnapping.
Bond hearing for kidnapping for Leon 12/22/17: set at $500K, if released on bond must wear GPS tracking device & to stay in Richmond or Columbia County; no bond set yet for murder charges.
2/2/18 update: Because it has been more than 90 days since she was charged but has not been indicted yet, Tripp was entitled to bond. Judge Ashley Wright set a $300,000 bond for her in Richmond County Superior Court. Tripp cannot have any contact with her husband or her 7-year-old daughter if she is able to post bond. Paine said she expected to receive the Richmond County Sheriff Office’s investigative file on Janell’s disappearance Friday and would take the case against the Tripps to the grand jury shortly.

3/13/18 update: A grand jury Tuesday charged Leon and Tanya Tripp & indicted in the Superior Court of Richmond County on the following:
*Count 1&2 - Murder for Leon Tripp
*Count 3 - Murder in the 2nd Degree for Tanya Tripp
*Count 4 - Kidnapping with bodily injury for Leon Tripp
*Count 5 - Cruelty to children in the 1st Degree for Leon Tripp
*Count 6 - Concealing a death for both
*Count 7 - Harboring a fugitive for Tanya Tripp
The indictment states that Leon Tripp is accused of murdering LaTania Janell Carwell between April 16 and May 23. DA will seek DP for Leon. Tanya Tripp, the mother of Janell, is accused of murder during the same dates. Additionally, the indictment states Tanya Tripp failed to provide accurate information regarding the circumstances of her daughter's abduction.

With those charges and the information quoted above - are they saying he did in fact kidnap her from the home in the middle of the night and do his evil things. And the mother is charges for failing to protect her child as well as the whole disgusting cover up. Am I reading that right ?
I had been wondering whether they were both involved in this from the start ? And he just took her to be buried in someone else's yard - this part is hard to get my head around. Didn't anyone hear ?
I guess we would have to assume they found no evidence at the home.
Cvaldez has bought up pregnancy a couple times and it makes sense. The mother let him kidnap her from the home.
Vile absolutely evil beings.

Had to look up "Application for Leave of Court":

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - Leon Tripp’s first unified appeal hearing is scheduled for September.

The hearing, which will accompany an arraignment, is required for death penalty cases.

Well that article wasn't helpful in giving me a date in September. Have another one, but can't access - denied here in the EU.
