Monday, August 20th:
*Hearing (@ ET) - GA - LaTania 'Janell' Carwell (16) (Apr. 17, 2017; found Mar. 8, 2018) - only for *Tanya Faye Tripp (35) "mom" indicted (3/13/18) of 2nd degree murder, concealing a death & harboring a fugitive. Bond set at $500K.
Failed to provide accurate info regarding the circumstances of her daughter’s abduction. 2/2/18 Update: Because it has been more than 90 days since she was charged but has not been indicted yet, Tripp was entitled to bond. Judge Ashley Wright set a $300,000 bond for her in Richmond County Superior Court. Tripp cannot have any contact with her husband or her 7-year-old daughter if she is able to post bond. Paine said she expected to receive the Richmond County Sheriff Office’s investigative file on Janell’s disappearance Friday and would take the case against the Tripps to the grand jury shortly.
7/2/18 Update: Tanya will be in court after filing “Application for Leave of Court” on 8/20 & 8/21.

*Leon Lamarr Tripp (38) step-dad indicted (3/13/18) of 2 counts of murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, cruelty to children in the 1st degree & concealing a death. Bond $500K.
Indictment states Tripp accused of murder between 4/16/17 & 5/23/17.
Leon had bond hearing on kidnapping on 12/22/17 – bond set at $500K, if released on bond must wear GPS tracking device & to stay in Richmond or Columbia County & no contact w/victims family; no bond set yet for murder charges.
7/18/18 Update: Notice of Arraignment & 1st UAP Hearing on Sept 7th.

Wonder if they finished Janelles autopsy .

Plead not guilty. Bond $500K. DA will seek DP.
Indictment states Tripp accused of murder between 4/16/17 & 5/23/17.
12/22/17: Bond hearing on kidnapping – bond set at $500K, if released on bond must wear GPS tracking device & to stay in Richmond or Columbia County & no contact w/victims family; no bond set yet for murder charges.
9/7/18 Update: Plead not guilty. Defense attys say they will appeal Grand Jury & also filed motion to deny cameras in courtroom. Next hearing 9/25. The couple’s cases are being prosecuted separately because if Leon Tripp is convicted of murder, District Attorney Natalie Paine will ask the jury to impose a sentence of death.
