ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are looking for help from the public in locating a missing 26-year-old woman.

Investigators said Lateisha Edwards was last seen on Saturday morning at about 1 a.m. She was last seen in the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue, S.W., in Atlanta, police said.

Police said Edwards is described as a black female, 5-feet-4-inches tall, weighing 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a gray coat, black hoodie, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department's Major Crimes Section - Homicide/Adult Missing Persons Unit at 404-546-4235 -- or call 911.

Tanya Story said her daughter, 26-year-old Latiesha Edwards, was last seen leaving a house in the West End area of Atlanta on Friday.
“Somebody knows where my daughter is at.”

Story (her mom) filed a missing person report after Edwards' roommate and cousin called saying they hadn’t seen her.

She later learned her daughter was at a friend’s house Friday night in Atlanta at least until 11. But, no one seems to know much more than that.

"No one is saying that she walked, no one is saying that she was picked up. No one is saying anything," she explained.

She never showed up to work. She was supposed to open the store up where she worked, but didn’t. Her latest paycheck has not been picked up either from Dunkin Donuts.

Story, the mom, described her daughter as kind and a fighter. She said Edwards would never not show up to her two jobs and would never ignore family and friends.

Story, her mom, is trying to keep the faith as they search for her daughter, who is also prone to seizures when she goes without her medicine or is stressed.

“My gut feeling right now, it’s not a good feeling," Story said. "It’s not a pretty sight. I have hope that she’s still alive but at this point, I can’t say what could be.”

This article states the clothing she was last seen to be a little different than what is stated in the article in post #1...

Edwards was last seen wearing dark pants, and a blue Walmart vest.

Additional physical description...
She has tattoos on her right wrist and a large tattoo on her right hip, of flowers and butterflies.

Her mom said police last pinged one of her phones near Grady Hospital and then in Henry County.

Atlanta Police have traced Edwards' phone to several locations in Atlanta and in Henry County, but then, the phone was shut off.
