Have you seen her? Police searching for missing Union City woman

Laura Waters was last seen June 21, in Union City, near the intersection of Roosevelt Highway and Lower Dixie Lake by the BP fueling station.

Waters is 5'7”, 130 lbs., with brown eyes and a shoulder-length wavy hairstyle.

There has been no contact between Waters and her family since she was last seen, which police say is highly uncharacteristic.

A Union City family said they've been desperately searching for their mother, Laura Waters, who disappeared more than a week ago.

According to Union City Police, the family filed a missing persons report Wednesday night and officials have been out canvassing the area, searching for her.

Waters' daughter said her mother would never just leave.

Thursday, officials shared surveillance footage of Waters and an unidentified who they saw was seen talking and leaving with the missing woman from a QuikTrip on the 4700 block of Jonesboro Road at around 3:30 a.m. on June 28.

After sending that release out, officials say Waters was found safely and returned to her family unharmed.
