Found Safe GA - Leland Whitehead, 9, Columbus, 4 Feb 2019

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing boy.

9-year-old Leland Whitehead was last seen Monday, Feb. 4 on Young Avenue.

Whitehead is 4’0” and weighs 75 pounds. He has blue eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information on Whitehead’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Columbus Police Department Special Victims Unit at 706-653-3449, 911, or the Columbus Police Department at 706-653-3400.

Very poor photo--haircut / hairstyle not visible at all, and he appears to be younger than nine. No description of what he was wearing or possibly carrying, or what direction he was headed! Is that really the best parents and LE can do when they are asking for the public's help to locate this poor child? MOO.

There really isn't a new pictures from over Christmas? Why does this child keep disappearing? Is anyone investigating that?
