Kenneth Lumpkin, a corrections officer with the Liberty County Sheriff’s office, has been arrested and charged with the murder of Lori Arrowood, according to Georgia Bureau of Investigation special agent Micah Ward.
Ward said the arrest was based on interviews with Lumpkin following the officer's arrest. Efforts continue to find Arrowood's body, Ward said.

Very bad news for Lori's family. My prayers are with them.

There was a female friend of Lori's that was one of the first few to begin the alert that Lori was missing. Dear God, I hope this wasn't his wife.

This guy seems to be a daily facebook user/games player. His FB activity abruptly ends at 5:33 a.m. on 9/25 - the date of Lori's disappearance.

My thought from the beginning was that whoever this 'family friend' was came on to her seeing as she was lonely and her husband was deployed, she rebuffed him and he freaked. The friend called in the middle of it and Lori was instructed to keep quiet and not attract attention.

How heartbreaking for her daughters, and even moreso if it does turn out to be a friend as it seems.

They were friends on Facebook, so she did know him. :-( ETA ~ He is also friends on FB with her older daughter.

Male and female Lumpkin I found both attended the Bradwell Institute and apparently graduated (or attended) one year apart. Likely candidates for husband and wife IMO.

Curious...how can you see the exact last activity time and date? The most recent I see is on 9/22 at 9:46pm. I se other activity above that one, but it doesn't show date & time.

The last thing I see is related to Mafia Wars and is Sept 25th, 6:33am it shows up under the text of whatever the action is, in smaller lighter text.

Not sure if the time is related to timezones? I am EST

ETA: There is that one item at 6:33, before that there is one I believe at 4am or so, and then at least a dozen just after midnight.

I found in 1999 the female Lumpkin filed for a protective order against Kenneth. I guess she could be a sister but more likely a spouse files for a protective order. IMO

When I look it shows Sept 25th at 5:33am... I am CST so FB is adjusting for the timezones.

Body of Woman Found in Long County

The body of a woman was found this morning along Tara Road in Long County, according to Long County Sheriff Cecil Nobles.

Nobles said he could not yet confirm if the body is that of Lori Arrowood, who has been missing for several days.

I figured it out. I have my filters set to block Mafia Wars, so I don't see any of that.
