Lumpkin is also the former neighbor of Gail Moody. Moody disappeared from her home on December 10, 2007 in Long County. The two once lived side-by-side on Groover Road.

"It's kind of weird,” stated Randy Ray, Gail Moody’s uncle. "Gail and Lori were about the same height, the same weight, and looked alike. Kenny knew both of them,” stated Ray.

I'm thinking this is not the end of this story by any means....

Wow... this really reeks of a serial killer. My cousin and her family just left Ft Stewart/Hinesville this summer because her husband was stationed elsewhere. Seems like just in time...

I grew up not too far from there. Don't know anyone in that particular area, but DeLoach is a common name in south/east Georgia. Don't know of anyone named Moody, though.

I really think this is the tip of the iceberg with this guy... :furious:

Savannah Smith's body was found in Gum Branch, and although the boyfriend was eventually arrested after fleeing to Atlanta, I wonder if it is possible he fled because he suspected he would be Person of Interest #1...

I feel so sorry for her children and her husband. I'm sure when he left for Iraq he never expected this would bring him back home. :cry:

So Kenneth is working on changing the outlet and probably overhears Lori's conversation with her friend on the phone. Maybe Kenneth gives Lori "a ride" to the horse show.

Daughter comes home around 6:30 pm to find mom missing and cars in place. Calls police around 9:00 pm. Then files missing person report.

Did I read somewhere that Kenneth was on the scene when this report was filed? Did he return for the occasion as a "family friend" or as a possible POI?

this is all I have found so far but I will definitley be digging more into the past travels of Mr Lumpkin. We do know the resided in the area as far back as 1996

RUMOR:

Per FB, one of Lori's friends says that Kenneth Lumpkin raped then strangled Lori in her home. The same person says that Lumpkin searched for Lori and that he also asked the friend to help him move some tables and that she agreed to do so because he was friends with Lori and was helping in the search. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1192276047

News 3 talked with Moody's mother, Melanie Clark Wednesday night. She says that Kenneth Lumpkin, the suspect in Lori Arrowood's murder, also knew Gail. He even lived down the street from her before her disappearance.

Clark says Lori was the same age and same height as Gail and even "kind of looked" like her.

Has the horse show been reconfirmed? I thought I read in one of the articles last night she hadn't planned to go there, so I'm just curious if I missed something. It also appears from the information released today that Lori was killed in the house. :waitasec: MOO

Not sure if it is accurate or not, but on one of the "Missing" Facebook links posted earlier, there is a post by a user who refers to Lori as "Aunt Lori" and later posted that the horse show was a rumor.....

Costal Courier confirms that only ONE body was found...that of Lori Arrowood.

The family including her sister, says the horse show was never in her plans for the day and was untrue.

I am getting more sick to my stomach the more I hear...if he is really connected to both cases... wow.

I think he may be one of the serial killers who kills people he knows... yet not spouses. (That we know of.)

I fully believe it's possible he killed Lori in her home. I definitely don't think she left willingly, because she wouldn't have left the keys AND the puppy out as well.

I also think strangulation is likely, because I don't think he went there intending to do it. I think he probably came onto her and she turned him down and it pissed him off.

I think it's possible Gail was more premeditated if he's responsible for that. But it easily could have been the same type of situation...since she knew him.

Maybe Lori was going to go with her friend to the bank....but was very sick that day. Told friend she was going to take a bath. Lumpkin heard this or shows up and sees that she's sick, that she is about to take a bath, etc......took advantage of her weakened state....then carried her body to Tower Rd. 40 minutes for him to rape her - which would be why she was crying and in pain. and then once the friend left he knocked her out and drug her out into the woods
