Just a very sad service and what a tribute Nathon gave his wife. It took a lot for him to get up there and sing a song. Just amazing.

He sang a song? Wow, what a special man Lori had in her life. I wish I could wrap peace and comfort in a box and send it to him.

Im confused why they would call off the search after only 2 days. Sounds like its such a dense place it would seem to me it would take longer to thoroughly search it.
Is this the same area where the cadaver dogs kept hitting where Loris body was found? That may have something to do with the reason for the quick ending to the search IMO.


The place looks to be really growed over but the dogs should go over it inch by inch. I'm confused as well to why they called it off.

I think this is the picture you are referring to and yes it does appear to be a scratch or some type of injury.

The last thing I've seen reported is Gail's Aunt Pam Cochran putting up new signs around Hinesville because so many believed Gail was found with Lori.

I saved the vid and a couple stills....

If Kenny doesn't talk it might go very cold again very fast.

I think the news updates will die down until his next court appearance, or something like that. My heart goes out to Nathon and Lori's children, and what they'll be going through in the next months adjusting to life without her. MOO

I have been sitting and fuming about this post for days. Not wanting to start trouble with anyone kept me from posting on this before but the more I think about it the more I feel I have to say something. Being releativly new to this site maybe im wrong but isnt it a site to help ALL victims find closer of some sort? If we arent allowed to bring victims into the thread doesnt that leave out Nathon, the daughters and Lori herself??? I just dont understand how not mentioning KLs family will help in any manner...they are just as much a part of this as anyone and thier feelings should be disscussed in as much of a delicate way as the husband, kids, and Lori in my opinion. It isnt any different than in any of the other threads on this site where family and friends are openly discussed trying to figure out what happened. This is just my opinion and if im wrong im sure someone will let me know. The person that was murdered is not the only victim in any of these storys and I think sympathy for ALL victims is a good thing JMO

I can't tell you what a relief it is for me to read posts like this. I am still fairly new and the last thing I would want to do is hurt any victims. The reason I signed up here is because of all you people who feel for the victims and seem to have hearts bigger then planets. What better group of people to be around?

I just thought of how KL's wife was a friend of Lori. If Lori cared for her in life I imagine she would be upset that her friend is going through so much and would want her supported now that she is gone. So it's really nice to see that done here. I hope she gets the same kindness and support in her community that you guys have shown her here.

The composite picture on the right, is the sketch of a man in Morgan County GA suspected of attempted kidnapping along hwy 441, no of I-20 in June of 2009. Though it was tossed around briefly in the Kristi Cornwell thread nothing ever came of him or his picture. The official composite of the Ranger NC suspect, which the "Grandma" letter said resembled "her" grandson is shown in a link below that is from an article in the Cherokee Scout newspaper.

I have several questions about him that I'd like answers to. I believe he is 39, almost 40. I believe he worked as a correctional officer for the past 14 years, beginning this career in about 1996 at the age of 25.

What date did he graduate from High School? 1989?
What did he do from the time he graduated from HS until he began working as a correctional officer?
Did he attend college? If so where and when?
Was he in the military? If so, dates.
During the 14 years as a correctional officer, especially during the time frame from 1996 until 2002, did he ever transport inmates from his facility to the Colwell Detention facility in Blairsville, GA?

Kristi Cornwell was a correctional officer at the Colwell Detention facility in Blairsville, Ga. She graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1991. They are the same age, just two months apart. She went missing on August 11, 2009. Has not been seen or heard from since.

Just got this via Google Alert: Lumpkin pleads not guilty to all felony charges relating to Lori....they do say that he's still being looked at for Gail Moody. Rot him.
