I have so many questions as many here do............But for starters, and I told someone this initially, I would NOT want to live where she did..............I haven't caught up yet on this great update..........So many LE involved!! so i guess this guy has records elsewhere? is he from Eatonton? why was he in Eatonton, replaying the same questions as early on......was he afilliated of some GROUP? Was it drugs? Or was she simply an easy target and maybe ignored him eventually inciting some anger.....were there words or threats made by either party?. The Sam Poss murder was simply an easy target IMO...........I have been staying at slinclair, had some incidents at my place and it's creepy, it's dark there, the putnam co s.o has so few to protect their community as it grows.............Maybe this was an easy case, clearly the perp left evidence of some sort but impressed by all that Putnam PD pulled into the investigation, Foxfire was absolutely right abuot that, time is of the essence..........Makes you wonder about the D's too, and what the man on the lawn looked like becasue this strangulation brings to mind beheading.............I havent read all the posts and articles completely yet but was OK PD or anyone involved in this case? Thinking about the beheading someone mentioned that SIlls was told about, the person who suddently disappeared after questiong or something?? Well, good job so far Eatonton!

I did note that this article referred to LI as "once-prominent," Seems all of the previous articles always referred to her as "prominent", which she absolutely seemed to be from her position at the local Arts Center, and also from articles written by or about her activities promoting the center and the Arts in general. Very professional, intelligent and a go-getter it seemed to me.
It seems that something happened???
So very sad all the way around.

She may have been very friendly and very naive, sadly both of those can be detrimental........I guess we'll here more later, amazed at how fast this aarest ocurred, maybe someone knew something of him from the start in the investigation...........so glad this didnt linger as the D's case has

It listed the agencies investigating the murder of LI as Baldwin County SO, GBI, Eatonton PD, Putnam Co SO, department of community supervision, Georgia Dept of Corrections Criminal Investigations Unit, GA State Patrol, Winder PD, US Secret Service, Texas Rangers, Mississippi Bureau of Investigations, and Hellam Township Police of York, PA!

So many different counties, pd's, and agencies from other states....

I would NOT want to live where she did..............

Curious as to why you say that. Was it a bad neighborhood? The house looked pretty nice to me.
Or is it because of the other recent crimes people have mentioned with an Eatonton/Putnam connection (Dermond, Ivanditti, McIver)?
If any remember the Dolly Hearn murder case (incredible case of the dentist who also killed his wife more than 15 years later, at which time he finally pleaded guilty to both murders), I believe her father's family was also from Eatonton/Putnam area.
The recent crimes in that area do seem very frightening but also so interesting.

I have been following the labyrinth of FB friends, pics, connections, links, comments, offspring, language, lingo, abbreviations, codes, etc.
This is a whole new and totally bizarre [under]world culture that is totally foreign to me!

So much info, but a couple of things to note:

Apparently FC (person arrested) was heavily involved in gang activity. (Discussed later)

Note the last post to FC's Facebook timeline on November 30, 2016 is regarding the birthday of Larry Bernard Hoover (November 30, 1950), who was basically the founder of the Gangster Disciples.
He was still running the org from prison.

Also note that FC posts a "Check-In" on his real FB page that he was in Memphis on Nov. 30, 2016. This was 2 days before LI's body was found on December 2, 2016.

As noted, FC's barebones second FB page only has 3 friends, LI being one of them.
I am wondering if he set up a new FB page just for LI rather than his other real FB to hide his gangster activities, friends, comments, pics, etc. from LI.

From my research on LI, I cannot even imagine LI being in any way knowingly involved with anyone in any way involved in or supporting gang activities (except for contact for drug sales, if there were ever any). I think LI had no knowledge whatsoever regarding info on FC's real FB page.

I only saw he had charges in Memphis on mugshots.com, dont know the other states sites for arrests, so will be interesting to find or see what he was charged with elsewhere, he looked pretty clean cut in his previous mugshots, LOOKED sort of trustworthy, but you know you cant go by looks, but many do

I believe that the person "Curtis" whose Facebook account link was posted above is a biological brother of FC.

A Hill Detention Center employee verified that Curtis Causey was in custody in Davidson County, TN (Nashville area) from November 19, 2016 until December 14, 2016.

FC's brother Curtis could not have had any direct physical involvement in the LI homicide and can be ruled out at this time.

Who is the "now girlfriend" you mentioned (if you can say)? Was her last name Matthews?

From the comments on FB, it appears that Frank had a lot of girlfriends and a lot of children, and not on good terms with some of their mothers.

I too wish that LI had not ever had any contact with him.

Interesting True Crime Lover, thanx for sharing.. Dwight Malachi York, sentenced to 135 years, also calls the shots for the Nuwaubian cult from from CO ADX Super Max. The NC's MO was to infiltrate Law Enforcement, corrections departments, and other government agencies. The day DMZ York was sentenced, 6 Macon GA police and firefighters resigned in protest. This is the primary reason that Sheriff Sills does not involve the GBI in the D investigation. He caught 2 GBI special agents fishing at the lake on the Tama Re NC compound & concluded that they had been infiltrated..jmo

The Dekalb County policeman and admitted GD hitman; Vencito Gumbs, mentioned in the Gangster Disciple Criminal indictment above was allowed to resign.. WTH?

The indictment details charges of racketeering, murder, drug trafficking, robbery, carjacking, extortion and fraud.
However, the indictment does not include charges for murder against Gumbs, even though it states that &#8220;on or about August 25, 2015, defendant VANCITO GUMBS, who was then a DeKalb County Police Officer, admitted that he had killed people as a &#8216;hitman&#8217; for the Gangster Disciples.&#8221;

Gumbs was also accused of traveling with another gang member, Kevin Clayton, in order to &#8220;take care of GD business&#8221;.
