The body of a woman was found near Lake Lanier on Friday

a fisherman discovered the body just before noon near Bethel Park “partially in the water and partially on the beach.” The body appeared to be a female and was “badly decomposed.”

The body was found in the lake near Vanns Tavern Park Friday morning.

Madeline Sinagra, 31, was reported missing in Hall County on July 22 after she jumped off a boat into the lake to swim, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
