BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WTGS) — It's been four years since 46-year-old Mark Anthony Waller was reported missing in Ellabell.
“The last time I saw him was eight that night and I haven’t seen him since," said his mom Marilyn Cooler.
Waller was last seen on May 7, 2015, after witnesses said he left a party off of Live Oak Loop at around 9 p.m.
As of now, the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office said the case has gone cold.
“Maybe a year or year and a half into it, we started running out of information to follow up on," said John Quattlebalm, the case's lead investigator.
He said Waller did not have a cellphone on him at the time, and there is no video evidence from that night. All he knows is what he heard from witnesses.
“It was said that he was heading home, but that’s just coming from the witnesses that were there at the party," said Quattlebalm.
Cooler said her family has heard many rumors surrounding her son's disappearance.
“Somebody said he got shot, but where is the body? That’s my thing, me and his brother and sisters and his kids, where is the body?" said Cooler.
She said others have told her that her son was beaten to death, but that hasn't been credible up to this point either.
Cooler said they've even searched themselves, starting the day he disappeared.
"We went around the house where the party was at and nobody knew nothing they said they were like 25 people there and my son was the only unaccounted for," said Cooler.
In the four years that have passed, the family said they've waited for answers.
One of Waller's brothers couldn't hold on any longer.
“He wanted, he wanted to know what happened to his brother and he died not knowing," said Cooler about her son, Lee Waller, who died last year.
Waller's family is pleading for people to come forward.
“Let us know something, where his body is, that that’s all we’re asking," said Waller's cousin Tammy.
Waller is described as 5'09',' 135 pounds, with blue eyes and brownish-gray hair. Waller has multiple tattoos on his arms including a bulldog on his right shoulder and letters on his knuckles. He would be turning 51 this month.
Anyone with information on Waller's disappearance is asked to call 912-764-1785.
