Update: Forensic examiner's findings were inconclusive. Martin's family will never know what happened.
A friend recently shared info that suggests a mugging was likely. I just don't know why the media wouldn't have reported on any of this.
Today I found this, which may the only publicly available reference from the family. On his Go Fund Me page, it simply says, "Martin Mitchell's missing no more."
So sad. :-(
