A Mattie's Call has been initiated for a missing elderly Columbus woman.

Mary Ellen Smith, 72, is a white female with red hair and hazel eyes. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds. She has several health problems, including Alzheimer's.

Smith went missing from 3400 8th Avenue on Thursday Feb. 20 between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Please contact the Columbus Police Department at (706) 653-3400 or call 911 if you have any information concerning Mary Ellen Smith.
