If she left a note they wouldn’t be doing this search and publicizing it on the news.

How can it not be suspicious when a dentist simply disappears, not notifying her work or husband that is leaving, leaves her car abandoned, and does not take her phone? Seems to be the definition of suspicious. I mean does she do this often?!

Yes, her phone being at her home is very suspicious to me. People, especially women and a dentist at that, just don't leave their phones at home, powered off, in my experience.
With her husband and son being away?
I don't buy it.

I snipped what was new in this article. At least new to me, I may have missed it if already posted.

just days before she was scheduled to leave for an overseas trip with her husband.
...
Her friend and coworker Jamie Leister Smith told Daily Mail she last spoke with Nadler Litt on Sunday afternoon.

Nadler Litt had dinner that evening with another friend, according to Smith, and was scheduled to leave Wednesday morning with her husband for a trip to Japan.

Perhaps she ran an errand to that shopping center for something she needed for the upcoming trip. DSW? And although she forgot her phone in her work bag, wasn't upset enough to go back home and get it. We've all forgotten our phones and only notice when we're somewhere else. If she was running a quick errand, she probably thought it didn't matter. I'm thinking parking lot incident, random assailant. Moo

If a parking lot incident was the case, than one would have thought LE would already have known that and not be saying there is no evidence of foul play and it is not suspicious. Assuming of course the parking lot had cameras, they recorded the area where her car was parked, they were functional etc. LE would have reviewed those recordings by now right?

Officers said they found Litt’s cellphone powered off in her work bag near the front door.

The report said Litt’s car and her wallet were not at the house, but that officers didn’t find anything suspicious or signs of foul play.

Officers said her husband arrived at the home but didn’t find any missing items and noted that valuables, such as Litt’s wedding ring and passport, were in a safe.
Wedding ring in the safe?
Hmmm.
IMO.

New to the thread, I'm catching up.

I don't think I've ever read a thread with so many locals! I hope this case turns out "found safe" and the community's sense of well-being isn't shaken.

Finding the timing odd, but it's probably just me.
Going out of state a few days before you're taking a VERY long flight overseas seems strange. My son is stationed in Japan, and the travel over there from ATL is pretty brutal. From her FB page, though, it seems that they did travel fairly often.
But... driving home from NC the day before the flight?
I'm so conflicted on this case. I'm just hoping that she's safe somewhere.
IMO.

Yes, I find that strange too, but well-seasoned travelers tend to take travel days with ease, in my observation.

she had worked the previous day at another office off Villa Rica Way in Marietta

FOX 5 reached out to Dr. Nadler’s husband, Lesley Litt. He said he was out of the state visiting their son in college when his wife disappeared

I also find it curious that her husband traveled without her to visit their son in college. I understand a possibility exists she had to work, but ….

I read somewhere that the husband was at the airport when the police contacted him about wanting to enter the home. Is that right? Or did I misread that. If she was home alone Monday evening, maybe she left her phone at home, ran to pick up food or put gas in her car for the next work day and some random assailant has her. I haven't seen a description of the car she was driving. I would think that the police would put that out there for people to review on their ring camera that live in the area. JMOO.

Word of a search party tomorrow afternoon near where her car was located. I do not think any involvement by LE. Maybe something will turn up.

We are supposed to have some big rain storms tomorrow in Georgia. I hope that doesn't hinder the search.

DSW (shoe store) really is the only store in that shopping center that she could have been shopping for last minute stuff for a trip. Unless they had plans that would involve used sports equipment.

Yes, but forecast has them passing early afternoon as of now. Search party is scheduled to start at 3.

If I decide to go I will post if any updates.

I have just returned from an event where several of the people there know the couple pretty well. Apologies but I don’t feel comfortable sharing what was (a) opinion and (b) second hand information, but it did give pause and reason to think that LE seems to think she left voluntarily. And I have not heard anything about a trip overseas. Not sure the Daily Mail is the best source.

I really hope that’s true and comes out soon. I’m feeling so defensive of her husband. Other than the boneheaded move of having the car towed, which makes more sense if he knew she left on her own but was still dumb, I don’t see anything suspicious. Visiting a college kid on one’s own is totally normal when both parents have a life. I feel bad for the family to face all these suspicions before we know anything. It’s still very strange to leave like that but we know nothing. Thanks for sharing what you could in the most respectful way.

I am a married female dentist. I've always worked under my maiden name. I've never worn my wedding ring at work. (For infection control reasons)

The dental fb pages that I've read say that the husband rang her work on the Tuesday morning, and asked them to have her ring him when she arrived. (Perhaps he had been trying to get hold of her the night before?) When she didn't arrive, she was reported as missing.

Hope she is ok. Dentistry is a tough gig.
