Sadly the reporting that the husband was out of town isn't as comforting as it should be.
Suzanne Morphew immediately comes to mind.

I’m guessing that the missing on the 13th date is possibly just the last day she was seen by someone (work colleagues, maybe?). They reported her missing on the 14th, but she is stated as missing from the 13th because of last confirmed sighting. JMO but it’s confusingly worded.

she had worked the previous day at another office off Villa Rica Way in Marietta

FOX 5 reached out to Dr. Nadler’s husband, Lesley Litt. He said he was out of the state visiting their son in college when his wife disappeared

As her phone was found by police at her home during the welfare check, possibly she went back home from work, then
Either went out again maybe for groceries given the potential location of her car in the parking lot suggested in this thread.
Or
She went missing from home. Someone else brought her car there.

The car was found undisturbed.

The Cobb Place shopping center, if this is it, closes at 9pm. On 13 Oct, sunset was at 7.05 pm and civil twilight at 7.30 pm. Source: Sunrise and sunset times in Atlanta, October 2025

The disappearance being out of character supports the idea that this wasn’t voluntary IMO, but who knows.

Solely based on the information out there, the scenario of foul play or unplanned adverse event rather than voluntary disappearance come more easily to my mind. The reason:

The car abandoned in a parking lot rather than at home or a house suggests something unexpected happened. It’s described as very out of character. A professional with family who fails to show up for work and disappears immediately is more consistent with something going wrong than a quiet exit.

Hopefully there are a lot of cctv available.

Questions:
-was the phone left at home because it needed charging?
-Or did she not expect to leave and was taken from her home by someone she opened the door to?
-What digital trace did she leave?
-Whom did she call or text last ?
-Who really saw her last and when?
-do cctv show her parking at the mall even if dark? Ot is the car parked in a zone without cctv? Parking lots are vulnerable spots at night.
-any personal stressors we’re not aware of? Medical condition, family crisis, that would make her want to leave and break a well established routine?

The article states that her car was found "abandoned behind a business." There was talk earlier in the thread about the possibility of cameras in a shopping center lot but of course most cameras will be pointed to the front of retail businesses with large parking lots. Let's hope there still may be some cctv available.

When did the husband leave to visit the son out of town? Who knew she'd be alone? If her phone was at home, she arrived home after work on Monday, right? Has the family allowed the home to be searched/processed by LE? How about the car? Her phone? Where was the phone located at home?

This is very worrisome.

I'm shocked that I have so many WS neighbors!

Hi, I'm another one! I live in Kennesaw.

I hadn't heard of this case until I saw an alert on Facebook early this morning. It's shocking.

Not unusual for a woman's phone to be in a separate part of the home from her handbag (which would contain her wallet). IF she was abducted, it would make sense that the perp came in afoot, broke into the house or was waiting in the house, grabbed her and her handbag and car keys (usually together) and took her in her car to the parking lot where alternate transportation may have been prepositioned. Hoping police dusted the whole house and car for prints and DNA.

I had not seen them state that her car was located behind a business until the Fox5 article. Search intensifies for Marietta dentist whose car was found abandoned
This is a bit confusing because of the way the businesses are situated in that shopping center in relation to others. Further out in one business' parking lot kind of falls behind another. Was the car in the customer lot or in the back where the employees park?

There is one business in that center, Sidelines, that is open until 2AM on Mondays.
