(CNN)Emergency crews are responding to a military cargo plane crash Wednesday in Savannah, Georgia, said a spokeswoman for the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.

Here's a video that explains what went wrong. Basically it was a mechanical problem compounded by pilot error.
