CNN reporting that Atlanta LE says 4 persons have been shot, 1 dead. Three at hospital. Still looking for shooter, have shared a photo. Don't know where he is.

Photos are from surveillance cameras downtown.

Atlanta PD says the shooting may be linked to some medical appointment the shooter had. Went to appointment, he became agitated and he began shooting.

Photos are from the medical facility where he was.

CNN reporter said the shooter is a veteran who was having mental health issues. His mother and others got him the appointment to get help. They didn't realize he was taking a weapon with him. So they know who the guy is. Still haven't found him. Mother is trying to help Atlanta PD find him. Not sure if they know where he is, whether they're talking to him.

Deion Patterson has been identified as the suspect, according to Atlanta Police. Officers advise if you see him, Call 911 -- DO NOT approach him He is considered armed and dangerous.

I'm west of ATL. Apparently they have tracked him into Smyrna by Campbell Middle School. He hijacked a vehicle but apparently abandoned it and is on foot for now. Cobb County is right next to me :/

Chief Medical Officer from Grady Hospital just gave a news conference

3 patients critical. One still in operating room. One patient shot in face, one in abdomen. Working to control bleeding. All three will go to ICU for monitoring and will need follow up care. Serious wounds.
