Atlanta Police searching for murder suspect after he escapes custody while at Grady Hospital

Police have since identified him as 32-year-old Carwon Marquavious Redding. He was originally arrested by MARTA Police on Thursday in connection to an April 14 homicide on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. He's been charged with felony murder and criminal attempt to sell cocaine, police said.

He has still not been found, btw.

In the meantime, on the same day he escaped from Grady Hospital, this happened (different criminal):

Man smoked crack, tried to sexually assault stroke patient at hospital and ran away naked

The woman told police that when she woke up, she saw the man trying to put a sheet over her head.

The suspect was on the run for nearly four weeks.

Atlanta police said Carwon Marqavious Redding, 32, was captured by Atlanta fugitive detectives with the help of Georgia State Patrol.
