A man has been arrested and charged with murdering a 4-year-old boy who died under the watch of the Georgia Division of Families and Children Services

DFACS case workers suspected 4-year-old Nasir Patrick was being abused and decided that he was not to be left alone with his mother, Yakeera Patrick, or her boyfriend, Michael Williams.

Patrick is pregnant, but the state wants her sister to take custody of that child, along with her other child, a girl.

Three DFACS case workers were fired following Nasir’s death
