Lil Jon’s son, DJ Young Slade, reported missing in Georgia

Rapper Lil Jon’s son, 27-year-old Nathan Smith, has been reported missing in Georgia.

Smith, also known professionally as DJ Young Slade, was last seen in Milton, Georgia, around 6 a.m. on Feb. 3.

The Milton Police Department said on social media Smith ran out of his house and has not been seen since. He reportedly left on foot without his phone and may be disoriented and in need of assistance.

The focus of the search has been in Mayfield Park. It's a five-acre property with trails and a retention pond

On Thursday, the city said Milton Police and partners from other agencies were operating in or around Mayfield Park near downtown Milton. The park is right by the intersection of Baldwin and Mayfield where Smith was reported missing.
The city also said the law enforcement activity could potentially continue into Friday.

Divers with the Cherokee County Fire Dept. located a body just before noon today. Foul play is not suspected at this time.

Milton Police said Friday that a body recovered from a pond by divers is believed to be Nathan Smith, the son of rapper-producer Lil Jon.

They said official confirmation of the identity would come from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

This....sounds like a very familiar scenario to me. IMO going to suspect there's some deeper issues going on with him. That's got to be very scary for the family.

It reminds me of the young man who went missing while on vacation in Florida last year. His cousins had picked him up at the place he was staying, and they said that they were smoking weed in the car on the way to the town they lived in. He ended up jumping out of the car on the highway and running away, ended up found in a pond. I'm thinking Nathan may have had a mental break of some kind and met the same fate.
