An Atlanta-area woman has been arrested on murder charges after investigators say she killed one of her twin 4-year-old daughters and set fire to her apartment to conceal the death, burning the other twin.
Nicole Jackson, 27, was arrested Friday by East Point police and remains jailed in Fulton County with no bail set. She's charged with malice murder, felony murder, two counts of first degree cruelty to children and criminal attempt to commit murder.
I guess LE and the DA are waiting to make sure the fire was indeed arson, so they can that on the list as well, IMO.
Lock her up, lock her up, as they say -- and they did.
WTH is with that? Why did the leave the other twin in the house? That child will carry a heavy load for the rest of her life. Hoping that since she is only 4 y/o, the memory will be foggy.
"WTH is wrong with people?" we ask.

The fire was reported at
Polaris East Point Apartments, formerly Brookfield Apartments, off Washington Road. The blaze spread to multiple units, forcing residents to evacuate. Officials say they found the body of a 4-year-old girl in an upper apartment. A second young girl was taken to the hospital with fire-related injuries.
The building had a total of eight units, seven of which were occupied. Officials say the building is a complete loss with the roof having collapsed in during the fire.
East Point firefighters and investigators spent Thanksgiving going through the apartment building searching for clues.
