MISSING PERSON – Nnakai Pratt

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, at approximately 0827 hours, Sector 2 Officers responded to 100 Valley Hill Rd Riverdale Ga 30274 in reference to a Missing Person.

Nnakai Pratt was taken from the location by unknown suspects, in an unknown direction.
There are no leads on possible suspect or vehicle information at this time.
Pratt is described as:

- Black Male
- 6 months old
- 2’1 ft
- 11 lbs
- Black hair
- Brown eyes

Pratt was placed on GCIC/NCIC as missing.

Clayton County Police said Sunday the baby was taken from a location on Valley Hill Road in Riverdale.

The Clayton County Police Department takes the disappearance of 6-month-old Nnakai Pratt with the utmost seriousness. Once reliable information was received, officers, including supervisory personnel, immediately began an active search and have been working continuously to locate the child.

No one saw anything? Heard anything? If someone took my child and I had neighbors literally behind the next (likely thin) wall, I'd be shouting and hollaring for help. (No reports that it was an armed kidnapping wherein the parent of child caregiver had to keep silent out of fear of being harmed).

Not up on the George Bureau of Investigation site yet All cases No Amber Alert that I know of. Are they considering this a kidnapping? Stranger Abduction?

However, when FOX 5 contacted the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) — which oversees all AMBER Alerts in the state — the agency had not received a request for an AMBER Alert from Clayton County police.

When FOX 5 followed up with Clayton County police, officials said they were unsure about the request and they would follow up with us.

It sounds like she is implying that -- but I took it as speculation on her part. She said "you can tell by body language" that they saw something they didn't want to see, and she said the police left right after they popped the trunk open. I hope the PD will give an update soon.

They didn't file for an Amber Alert, for the reasons you gave. The PD apparently said that they were trying to gather more information so they could issue an Amber Alert, but it didn't happen. IMO their investigation may have led them in a specific direction that wouldn't make an AA necessary, and they might believe that they have a good idea of what happened to little Nnakai.

She said she hoped they didn’t find anything in the trunk. They also towed a red car, all 3 belong to baby’s dad. They continued searching the woods nearby with a dog so they didn’t find the baby in the trunk/car. This information was from the link in the first post.

I think LE has a pretty good idea what may have happened. They took the vehicles for forensic examination. That's a flag right there.

Another thought that occurred to me after the time that has elapsed. Why aren't there any other picture of this child but one that is not recent IMO. That is NOT a six month old in the photo, I'm guessing around 2 months old there at most. I personally don't know any parent that don't have dozens of pictures of their baby on their smart phones or computer by six months that could have been shared with LE. (I'm a grandma - just ask me, I can show you grandbaby pictures all morning long. . . )

Exactly. Six month old is missing and that grainy picture is the best one you have to give to LE?
Red flags are waving and it's not the wind.

I'm thinking he is not actually 11 pounds, but that the person who provided that info didn't know how much a 6-month old should weigh so simply guessed. However, I'd like confirmation on when someone outside the immediate family saw him.

I really hope this is not another Emmanuel Haro type situation but the lack of updated pictures and the car searches on the premises he was reported missing from, are not good signs IMO.
