I'm thinking he is not actually 11 pounds, but that the person who provided that info didn't know how much a 6-month old should weigh so simply guessed. However, I'd like confirmation on when someone outside the immediate family saw him.

Like you, I'm wondering WHO saw him last and at what time/date, and also who reported him missing. A child that age would likely have been reported missing by either (1) parent, either full time or part time custodial (2) legal guardian or (3) caregiver (babysitter). I could see a sitter not knowing the weight, but the parents should have been able to clarify and correct that immediately. I can not fathom a situation where a child was missing where the parent(s) wouldn't have ensured police had current and correct inforamation as to a physical description to find their child.

I think LE has a pretty good idea what may have happened. They took the vehicles for forensic examination. That's a flag right there.

Another thought that occurred to me after the time that has elapsed. Why aren't there any other picture of this child but one that is not recent IMO. That is NOT a six month old in the photo, I'm guessing around 2 months old there at most. I personally don't know any parent that don't have dozens of pictures of their baby on their smart phones or computer by six months that could have been shared with LE. (I'm a grandma - just ask me, I can show you grandbaby pictures all morning long. . . )

I mean, I not only have pictures of the grands but their animals. I have 5,567,897,231 pictures of my cat as well.

Yes, looks like it to me. Again, that's a baby a lot younger than 6 months. By about 2 months they should be out of the mitts at least when they're awake so they can start figuring out how to use their hands.

Since they have announced the arrest of the rather and formally named him as a suspect. Here is a booking photo from July for an Antonio Pearce, arrest in Gwinnett Co.. Antonio Pearce – Mugshot & Booking Details from Gwinnett County. It's the same middle name as the Antonio Pearce found in the current booking in Clayton County (standby for those records, separate post)

Yeah, that explains the 11-pound description, imo. This guy doesn't know what a baby should weigh, and he's the one who reported him abducted.

Still the lingering question: who last saw the baby and WHEN?!

This article stated a woman who was living in the same apartment was seen being taken away by LE (no handcuffs). Father arrested on unrelated charges as search for missing 6-month-old baby continues in Clayton County
