Found Safe GA - Obrielle Curry, 4, taken by Moses Allen at Walmart, South Fulton, 25 Sept 2018

  • #21
The mother, Shalonda Curry, said she has been friends with Allen for 10 years and described him as like a godfather to Obrielle.

Curry said she left her daughter with Allen so she could take her son to get a haircut, and added Allen left his cellphone in one of his bags, which is still in her car.

South Fulton Police plan to release a video Wednesday afternoon with the girl and the man leaving the Walmart.

This is really scary. Was it seriously after 10pm? How old is the other child she was taking to get a haircut?

This is all very odd.

Nobody gets a haircut at 10 30 at night.

Story is fishy.

What time did the mother leave Obrielle with her friend at Walmart? She returned to Walmart to retrieve her afterwards to pick her up, so was the plan for him to stay at Walmart (was he shopping himself or what?) until her return? Was it simply during a haircut for her son or was it multiple errands?

10:30 pm at night is late at night, are salons usually open into the later night hours? Perhaps it was a haircut as a friend's house. I guess I'm assuming it was at a salon not far from Walmart as she went back there to pick her daughter up which sounds like it was expected that he and Obrielle stayed at Walmart. Unless I'm missing something.

There's a lot of details not released, and lots more questions that need answered. I hope this is a "happy" ending like another similar recent story (where the mother was shoplifting inside the store and gave her baby to an acquaintance IIRC who took the baby home overnight). I don't like that he apparently had her prior and/or during the night, takes my mind places I don't want to go. Although he is/was a friend of 10 years--she did said something to the effect of "I hope he didn't hurt her but you never know these days."

Praying for her safe return.

probably wanted to take that baby home and get her some sleep. It was late.

I can hope, right? =)

I would like to know what the plan was.
What time was she supposed to be back to pick up her child?

I am happy the little one is safe
