Authorities seek missing Augusta woman

Richmond County authorities are looking for a 22-year-old Augusta woman who was last seen late Monday. About 9 p.m. Wednesday, Richmond County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 1600 block of Hester Street, where Evelyn Smith Carroll, 16, reported Octavis Smith as missing, according to an incident report. Carroll told deputies that Smith left their home about 9 p.m. Monday with a black man with short hair known as Moses and has not been seen since. Several attempts by Carroll and police to contact Smith have been unsuccessful.

Richmond County Woman Reported Missing

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the CSRA in locating a 23-year-old woman who has been reported missing. Smith was last seen on Monday, June 9th on the 1600 block of Hester Street. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
