"EATONTON, Ga. — A 62-year-old Eatonton man’s death at his home last week has been ruled a homicide, local and state authorities say.

The cause of death of the man’s 25-year-old niece, whose body also was found at the same residence still is pending."

Hmmm... Manner of death for the uncle was "Homicide". Sounds like the uncle was stabbed.

"The Eatonton Messenger ran a story in October 2015 about Katie Chalker, at that time age 21, who was arrested by EPD for stabbing her 19-year-old boyfriend at 217 Sparta Hwy. The boyfriend survived the stabbing at that time, and was taken to a Macon hospital, according to The Messenger archives."

"An Eatonton woman is facing charges after she allegedly used a steak knife to stab her boyfriend.

Eatonton Police Chief Kent Lawrence said 21-year-old Katie Elizabeth Chalker is being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond for aggravated assault, simple battery and cruelty to children.

Lawrence said Chalker's boyfriend was seriously injured in the stabbing."
