I think he is a man full of regrets who is doing his best to be truthful and honest without making excuses.

It would not surprise me at all if he's in AA or similar. He's certainly worked on himself.

He was in the back of a truck loading at the time he got the call from LS about Q. She said door was open and Q wasn't in the play pen. He tried to calm her down. I ran out of work as fast as he could. left his jacket and pack of cigarettes behind in his rush to get home.

LS called him, he got home, she was sitting on the back patio frying, not searching, had not called the police.

DY did a quick search, called the babysitter, then called the police.

LS was on back patio crying when DY got home. She was near the wooden bar right outside the back door seated. Confirms there ar ewoods all around the house. LS was not searching, crying and saying she didn't know where he was. To his knowledge she had not called 911 or LE.

LE finally arrived DY did some searching, he thinks he called Michelle and then 911.

when LE arrived he spoke w LE in the driveway. LS mentioned Q's father. She said she had gotten msgs from Q's father that she didn't deserve him within weeks of Q missing. She never told DY that before that morning.

Before Le arrived LS did not speak to him about where she had gone in the night and he didn't ask.

At some point he heard her tell LE about her wee morning hours trip allegedly to the chevron to get orajel.

DY is emotional again. State shows image of the patio LS was on when he got home. then plays body cam video of LS telling the chevron orajel lie. Danny appears to be absorbing this info in that video [he appears far right of the screen]

state plays the tape back so show DY's puzzled head tilt upon hearing LS left in the night to go to "chevron" his lips appear to mouth something like "what?"

I feel bad for his parents, it must be awful for them knowing he got tangled up with Leilani.

State playing video of DY confronting LS about lying about the orajel. She keeps doubling down on that lie and is yelling at him as if HE did something wrong by asking. This video is covert and not something LS knew as being filmed.
