Oh, it's because the next witness is a minor and cannot be broadcast.
Is that common? We’ve heard minors testify in other cases with a precaution of not showing their face or saying their name.

We're back. They've moved the camera to avoid showing the witness.

One time Leilani called her at 4 am to come get Quinton because she was aggravated by him.

C and her sister babysat the kids for LS

Q would open the door and love on you (me). He would open his arms and launch himself into yours and give kisses on cheek.

has witnessed LS push Q down while describing an event that happened the day before that angered her - he did something to break a PlayStation remote controller.

C believes the controller belonged to Paul Simon and LS was concerned that he was going to be made at her because Q broke it. LS and DY were arguing that day and asked me to take Q but C couldn't do so because I wasn't allowed so C said she would grab him in the morning.

When she arrived the next morning Q was happy and excited talking about bubbles. LS pushed him while describing the controller situation. She put her hand on his chest and shoved him and he fell on his butt. He began to cry.

This witness is certainly better than the last. She saw the family daily, and witnessed multiple instances of abuse by LS on Quinton. Sounds like she was basically his mother, even though she's only 17 now.

They came to get him from LS's house to babysit him every day.

She witnessed LS push Quinton to the ground and it upset her and LS pushed him into the pool on a different day.

Witness starts crying while talking about Quinton. Leilani looks on, expressionless. Seems like everyone cared about Quinton except for his mother. :(

"Zayne's been my number one since he was born, and Quinton's just sitting there, useless."

LS pushed him into the pool knowing he had no floaties on and could not swim. He came up sputtering and crying. T asked to take him to her house and LS allowed her to. They cuddled and he fell asleep.

LS described to T that it irritated her that Q looked so much like his father. T told LS Q was trying to navigate the stairs in his household. T told LS he needed help or he would fall. LS responded that he was a big boy and should be able to do it. T shoved baby S into LS arms and rushed to go assist Q.

LS was sleeping one day, and the children were playing in the road. The minor witness took them home, had to bang for ages before LS came, and then when she told her where the kids had been, LS hit Quinton in the face, backhanded him, and his head hit the concrete.

LS's relationship with Z seems incredibly narcissistic. It's all about what Z does for her.

Witness has broken down, is audibly sobbing.

Insists she's fine to continue.

Looks like she remembered that too

Witness confirms DY was good with the kids, loved them, and treated them how they should be treated.

They would have Quinton for WEEKS at a time without her ever calling to check on him. Quinton would be there but the other kids would not be. He never wanted to leave their house :(
