How can the jury not want justice for Quinton after all they have heard and seen the last few days. Today was hard listening to how they searched through the landfill for 5 weeks looking for body parts.

Has the Grandmother made any statement yet? She was at a minimum, neglectful imo if she had some role in Quinton's custody.

Not true and IMO he crossed a line. And I don’t like his yellow tie and how he doesn’t button his jacket when he stands up. So there.
Like I said, he won't use the stick if he thinks he can get what he wants with sugar. The stick worked on psychic lady, but it hasn't worked on the LE and FBI he's tried it on. He tried to make the day one first on scene guys look inept, like a scene trampling herd of elephants, and it didn't work. He tried to tie Agent Solomon in knots or get her to lose her temper, and it didn't work, either. I could see what he was trying to do, though. I don't think LS is going to have much grounds for appeal if she's convicted, not where her counsel is concerned. He seems to be doing his due diligence, and, like I said, often, I find his questions on cross really good ones, and his more abrasive crosses I can see the point of, even if it doesn't make me like him. He's not there to be liked, and he knows that.

Admittedly, he's up against stiff competition from last week's clerk fashion twins. There's only so much you can do when faced with perfection.

I wondered about BJH too. I'm assuming the defense will call her as witness, but is she on the prosecution's list as well?

Special thanks to @iamshadow21 for all your posts today. I'd followed this case early on when QS was first missing but haven't been able to watch the trial live (and from the sounds of it, I wouldn't have wanted to be watching or listening to LS that whole time), so I appreciate you recapping the important points!

The expressions on LS's face when her attorney harasses or is snarky during his cross examination show how much she approves of that tactic. However, if he fails to grill the witness in that manner, well then LS gets this creepy disgusting look on her face and appears to be unhappy with him. I have to add, and this is strange, but it almost seems that she is enjoying this trial. JMOO

Confronting her that she didn't call the circle K. She's claiming she might have used DY's phone.
We really need to have the eye roll emoji as an option for us here to react to posts! Imo

Bad attention is better than no attention at all ... she acts like a petulant child and has zero self-awareness. I think she'll fair well in prison, she's good at manipulating others to get what she wants. No kids to take care of, she won't have to work, cook or clean - right up her alley.

Of course she is, it reinforces her perception that the world revolves around her. It's the most attention she's ever got in her life.

As far as I'm aware, most facilities, prisoners have jobs. Some jobs are more prized than others.

In Georgia, unless a prisoner is on seg or another form of restriction due to status, disability or ill health, they have to work.

I dislike Leilani as much as the next person. But this case has me worried. So far we know as facts

- LS dumped a bag of likely remains of HER CHILD at past 1am on the morning she reported Quentin missing.
- LS made various versions of explanations of what happened the night before.
- LS hooked up with her drug dealer and scored some Perc30s while DY HER FIANCE was lying in bed at home.
- LS is seen buying beers at the CircleK, for whom? I guess it doesn't matter but it seems an odd thing to do at 1030pm when ya got work the next da 6am.

This to me is a lot like the Christopher Gregor case who killed little Corey, his son. You have to connect the dots and realise that the only possibility is that LS caused the death of little Quentin. On PURPOSE.
Unfortunately in the Gregor case, he wasn't convicted of Murder, which to me was a travesty. He got just 25 years. And that was AFTER the world saw that horrible video of CG forcing Corey to run on a treadmill at high speed a few weeks before his ultimate killing.

I guess it's just dawning on me that we can only hope the jurors see what we are seeing... a person who gave birth to a child but felt such contempt for his merge existence, she ultimately just wanted to rid herself fo the burden of being his mom. A role any one of us would have loved to play, for this sweet Lil one.

Just to let you folks know, I will be covering tomorrow, but I'm giving myself a late start. Had an unexpected vet visit today (nothing serious) and had to detour round a major traffic incident to get there. Tl; dr, stress, adrenaline, so I'm up way later than I should be to be up in six or seven hours to cover live.

Those who are up bright and early, don't feel you can't post what you like about what you're watching. I will post how I usually do, just probably a few hours later.

Love you all, and see you tomorrow!

Who is Tim Weston?

Nvm. The drug dealer.

The Weston's testimony will not be streamed. Reporters can live tweet it though.

Hi there!

I'm shaking off the cobwebs. I'm a couple of hours behind live.

The video stream seems to start mid testimony. Relying on other sources, this witness seems to be the garbage truck driver. They're asking about his route and schedule, I think?

According to the liveblog linked above, this witness's name is Joe Matz, and he's the manager, not the driver.

Short cross, Hilliard tried to throw uncertainty into the reliability of handwritten records.

General laughter from the court when the witness, on redirect says he's been doing this since "19BC". Actual answer is 1976.

Next witness: Next witness, Donnard Johnson, waste management.

He oversees landfill operations, three sites in total.

Talking about the difference between a landfill and a dump. A landfill is highly organised, a dump is not.
