Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating an elderly man who went missing this morning.
Police are advising the public to be on the lookout for 76-year-old Robert Stokes. Stokes reportedly suffers from dementia and was last seen around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, in the area of Blueridge Drive in Gainesville. He was in a cream-colored 2005 Ford Expedition, with a Georgia license plate, tag number PEW7681.
Police believe Stokes may be heading toward Watkinsville.
Stokes was wearing a blue shirt and slacks. He is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has hazel eyes and brown hair.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 770-536-8812.
