No stone unturned. Look into the person/people who ordered the food as well. IMO

Police were searching for the vehicle — a maroon 2010 Nissan Armada with Georgia license plate #RWW4748 — and discovered it in Lithonia this morning; however, Grisby was not inside.

I didn’t realize the plates had been changed. Unknown if car seat was still in vehicle. What? They need dogs on that car and it’s location. The mom is breaking my heart. I don’t understand how car was running but she had keys in her hand. Did I hear that right? Did they find pacifier in car? Please let this baby have her pacifier in her mouth right now.

@DeKalbCountyPD
say the Nissan Armada was located— tags had been changed by suspects.

The car has keyless entry. So the car can run even if the keys are not in it but from what I understand, once the car is turned off, it won't restart. I have keyless entry but not sure if I'm correct on this.
I find it odd the car was found less then a mile away and yet the tags were changed. Why? That's a lot of activity in a short time span. I wonder who the stolen tags belonged too? Were they taken from a car near by, I can't see them bringing it along in hopes of finding a running car, screwdriver and all. IMO

LOTS of questions in this story... I don't see tears or red eyes from all the seeming crying in the media video.

How hard would it be to run a drug ring through Uber Eats? Look for fingerprints on the false plate, just sayin'

Less than a mile = enough time for someone to get back to the original crime scene to call LE? I hate thinking this way but see it all too often on here.

Checkers is what it sounds like she said the order came from.

She also mentioned hearing footsteps, turned around, and her car was in the street/going down the street?

She didnt see them backing out of the driveway when she turned around? They were already in the street?

Edited to add: deleted this part as she did say she heard car doors shut.

Perps had or found plates and took the time to replace them despite only traveling one mile? Or they returned at some point after 2am and before 9am to just 1 mile from the area of the original car theft just to dump the car, but without the child?

Something is off here....

Edited to add: perhaps perps didnt realize car was keyless start until after they had turned it off and were unable to restart/locate keys? Perhaps the car dump location was just meant to be a temporary stop? People living in that neighborhood, particularly the houses closest to where the vehicle was found might know a great deal about the 2 suspects...

How is it possible to drive a keyless car away, if the keys are not in it? My Santa Fe is keyless and if the keys are not within a certain radius of the car, the car cannot be driven.

I think it likely depends on the make/model. A good friend of ours went on a road trip with family in their Yukon XL and got 5 hours down the road before they realized they did not have their keys with them. The car had started because they’d been in the garage, in close enough vicinity to the keys, and then allowed them to drive off without the keys.

I have never carjacked a vehicle. But I can only imagine that if carjacking was the motive, they would have kept the car and left the baby. But just the opposite happened here. Don’t know what to think. MOO

i just looked on google street view to see the location. unless the perps were looking to break in a home or steal a residents car, cant see why they would be there even

interesting point....was the child even in the vehicle to start with
Uggggggggg. my heart fell to my stomach reading that.

She said she worked nights because Royalty would sleep so it sounds like it was the norm for her to take the baby with her.

Amber Alert issued for 1-year-old Georgia girl taken in carjacking

DeKalb County Amber Alert press conference

Police are searching for a missing girl who was taken during a carjacking in Stone Mountain, GA

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County police have issued an Amber Alert for a 1-year-old girl who was taken during a carjacking early Thursday morning.

Officials say the carjacking happened around 2 a.m. as a woman was making a food delivery on the 1,200 block of Harvest Dale Court in Stone Mountain.

Police say the woman's daughter 1-year-old Royalty Grisby was asleep inside the running car at the time.

Royalty's mother Elizabeth Grisby heard the car door close and tried to run to stop the suspects, but they drove off before she could get to her vehicle.

The vehicle, a maroon 2010 Nissan Armada with a Mississippi tag, was found abandoned shortly after 9 a.m. in a nearby neighborhood. Police say neither the suspects nor the young girl were found.

"We have a 1-year-old child out there who's not with her mother. We fear for her well-being and her safety. Every second is critical," DeKalb County Police Department Capt. Brian DeLoach said.

"I just want my baby home. I don't care about nothing in the car. I don't care about all of that stuff. I just want my baby. That's all I'm worried about," Grisby said through tears at a press conference.

Royalty was last seen wearing a pink jacket, purple shirt, and white, purple, and pink socks. She also had a pink pacifier.

Police say they believe the two suspects were men, but have no other descriptions at the time. They also believe they may be on foot.

If you have any information about where Royalty could be, please call 911 immediately.

UPDATE (12:20 PM): The DeKalb County Police are looking for Malachi Richardson. It appears that the food delivery that the mom was making at the time was a setup. Malachi allegedly lives in a neighboring subdivision.
