Sherral Adams, 29, last contacted her mother on March 23. Adams reportedly packed her belongings and left her Houston Avenue address before the rent was due last month. The woman, who reportedly has mental issues, is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds.

Just after 2 p.m. on May 12, someone checking for illegal dumping discovered an unrecognizable, badly decomposed body on an empty, 14-acre lot in the 1900 block of Feagin Road.

An autopsy revealed the woman was shot at least once in her head, said Bibb County Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.

A news release says the women is identified as black or biracial.

I can't find any updates on Sherral. She suffers from schizophrenia.

The death of the body that was found was ruled a homicide. I can't find out if it was ever identified.
