Missing: Have you seen 60-year-old Sherrie Barfoot?

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate 60-year-old Sherrie Barfoot. Bibb Sheriff’s Deputies spoke to Barfoot’s daughter March 22. The daughter reported that she last saw Barfoot in March of last year.

According to authorities, Barfoot was last seen January 31, 2017 at the Salvation Army. Barfoot is homeless and was last seen with her boyfriend Curtis Marks.

Barfoot is a white female, about 5’2” in height and weighs around 120 pounds.

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Sherrie Barfoot is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or call the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.

The daughter reported that she last saw Barfoot in March of 2017. The last time someone saw Barfoot was January 31, 2017 at Salvation Army. Barfoot is homeless and was last seen with her boyfriend Curtis Marks at the Salvation Army.

That would make sense for due to her being homeless. I work with the homeless population and this tends to be normal. If I was her daughter I would visit soup kitchens, shelters and find someone who is familiar with "tent cities" in the area. Also every January a PIT Count is done in each state. Volunteers go and find homeless people and record there info and it goes into the government's database. It helps with funding/grants etc. I would check to see if she was included in the PIT Count for this year.
