Well said CBG.
One of the best things about WS is the diversity of opinions and views of the posters. I do appreciate what you contribute to the discussion here.

No updates at all yet?

I saw on Sunday's missing fb page, that she has not been released to the family yet.
My thoughts are with them as they wait.

It kills me to hear about what she went through.

there is a special place in hell for people like that.

I did not see the details you quoted in your post in the news link you provided? Where did you get that information?

While Tomlinson eventually caved under pressure and told LE where to find Sunday, he could have saved her family a lot of agony had he done the right thing April 22. Makes me ill to read the details in that news story. The one thing he did not say was WHY Herman killed Sunday.

Sunday moved directly from TX to Tifton because of that trouble and her Mother said she had to go and noone in her family would take them in. That is a fact.

can you link that 'fact'?

if not and you are posting as someone who knows the families, then I do believe you need to be vetted by Tricia, the forum owner or at the very least contact a moderator who can guide you further

it's important that you read the first post in this thread and JBean (or any other moderator) can advise you of the best approach

this thread will be shut down in no time if we don't follow TOS

Responding to Bowden’s questions, Tomlinson said Evans described shooting Blombergh. When that didn’t kill her, he said he tightened a wire around her neck, Tomlinson testified, and when he saw she still wasn’t dead, he stabbed her in the chest.

Where did that quote come from?!

That's what I asked Mlatta ... Was the story edited after being posted online?

Interesting to note the differences in what was reported by the Television Stations vs. the Print Media/Newspapers.
This clip states the ME has released Sunday and the family will hold a memorial in July.

It's right in the article?

TIFTON — During testimony in Tift County Superior Court Wednesday, a man charged with concealing the death of murder victim Sunday Blombergh gave gruesome details he said one of the defendants charged in her death told him.

Blombergh’s badly decomposed body was found May 27 in a wooded area in Colquitt County near the Tift County line. Blombergh, 28, disappeared April 22 from the 49 Briarwood Lane home she shared with Ruby Anne Evans, 45, the mother of Blombergh’s estranged husband, and Evans’ husband, Roy Herman Evans, 44, who both remain in custody at the Tift County Jail.

Carol when I read at the link you posted on the prior page, the details I asked about were not in the online story. Neither was "afterwards I left and called you".

Guess at some point they were editing the story ... Trust me I read it three times.

I like how Tomlinson says he was never 'good' at telling lies but he managed to lie to an investigator and lie by ommission prior to that

sorry but he gets no break from me

people have to have higher standards than that or they're just as guilty as the murderer IMO

Absolutely No Break ... Morally bankrupt, just like Herman and Ruby.

HOW AWFUL.
awful, awful, awful.

I suspected something quite horrific. I wonder if that statement from him is true. Either way that has no mention of Ruby or how she played into it and that seems... if premeditated, very loosely. I wonder about the phone call to Ruby. It just does not all fit with motive I think, even though yes she filed those papers that day...the extra info in Tomilsons statement also caught my attention, anyone know what I am talking about?

something else went down too I think and I hope it comes out and they get to the bottom of it by trial.

RIP Sunday.

This just in - from a CLOSE family member:

Theo Conoly was arrested today for The Conspiracy to Commit Murder,in the death of my daughter Sunday Blombergh.Ruby and Herman Evans have now been charged with Felony Murder, both, Which carries the Death Pentaly or Life without Parole.

Just thought I would share!!!

It has just been announced by both WCTV's and WALB's sites that Sunday Blombergh's ex-husband Theo Conoly has been arrested on conspiracy-to-commit murder charges, and that the charges against Herman and Ruby Evans have been increased to include 'malicious murder' and 'felony murder,' carrying sentences of either life sentence w/o a chance of parole, or the death penalty. The charges against Kenneth Randall Tomlinson, who led authorities to Sunday's body have not been increased.

What a horrific thing for him to take part in....How the ---- can he take part in something so horrible towards the woman who gave him such a great gift, the best gift and woman and man can give each other.

Thank heavens that she has her moms family to lean on because they are going to have to help this sweet little girl for many many years. Not only loosing a parent by horrific means but to loose the other one for conspiring to do it....

I wish The Blombergh family all the best and my prayers are with them.
