Interesting tidbits on twitter.

@RandyTravisFox5
Cobb law enforcement source: Ross Harris claims he forgot about son in backseat during the .02 miles it took to get from restaurant to work.

***I must have been looking at the wrong chickfila, I thought it was a little over 3 miles.

I read that it was the cameras, but that was not an approved MSM source.
HLN is reporting he was seen on cameras at Chik fila and at work.
Dad had to know that, there are cameras literally everywhere around the Cumberland Mall Akers Mill area.

Curious if wife has been to see him....

Medical expert said on the news at noon (wsbtv) that the child was likely dead within the first hour. Death cert will reflect the time so again that's a big unknown. If he looked up the dog in car search between 9-12 the day the child died or the day before, I'm going with it was his intention to kill cooper. If searh was done after 12 going with he was trying to cover it up as to avoid looking like he left the child in the car all day hence the choking business at the shopping center. His demeanor at work would be interesting to hear about.

As far as the cop telling him to calm down and tell his wife what happened.... I think he most likely mouthed off to the cop "like my kid is dead I won't calm down" or something rude to the cop so cop told him to watch his mouth. I'm doubting it was because of something he said to the wife...

DR. MICHELLE DUPRE, MEDICAL EXAMINER (via telephone): Well, Nancy, that really depends. Children are much smaller. Rigor mortis can set in

pretty quickly, especially with high temperatures. And temperatures in hot cars can get very, very high, as we all know.

The baby was covered in vomit? Dad tried to rinse him off before touching him?

Vomit would help choking story though?

.02 miles?

Makes the trip to work faster than we first thought.
:banghead:

When my kids were little I drove them to elementary school...
0.25 miles from our house. One stop sign, trip was 2 minutes tops.

I don't think that matters much. It is about routine and what was going on. I am troubled by the new report that he went out and checked the car, but I still don't believe that would be a smoking gun either. I think that there may be other evidence they gathered that is more damning.
Because at this point it still could be a tragedy in my mind. I am not completely sold yet.

:blushing: Obviously I'm leaning wayyyy towards dad committing a crime on purpose. And I really am anxious to hear all pertinent information.

Wanted to add.... I now have grandkids who are toddlers. Thinking back to them being little Cooper's age, they were wide awake, raring to go and loud when they got up, during and after breakfast.

My point being , imoo no way the dad forgot his child on a drive that took a couple of minutes... I ain't buying it.

2600 Cumberland Blvd to 2485 Cumberland Pkwy is 1.8 miles or 6 minutes. Note that one is Cumberland BLVD and the other Cumberland PKWY, so they are not as close as it sounds.

Again if its believable some one could forget a kid was with them and leave them in the car all day from home to work I don't see a huge difference between between Chicfila and work. I know its harder to believe but what if he was in traffic use to eating there with out Cooper and spaced. Still neglect and criminal regardless but still not sold on intent

If it's what I expect, people usually come up the the most ridiculous explanations when trying to cover.

Oh my god...it's nearly across the street!!!!

If he did go to another chickfila, why?

ETA: That IS it, according to the warrant. Seriously, he forgot his son he just stopped to eat with? It's not even far to walk, much less drive. That's a QUICK drive. No freaking way. Nope

I know! Wonder if we hear something llike -I was thinking about getting my son a puppy and wanted to be sure the puppy would be ok in the car for a while....

If he goes to work at 9AM, assuming he works 8 hrs a day, he shouldn't have left until 5PM. Why did he leave work early?

Have you ever worked MIS? They usually work odd hours, etc from home.

DCIMO. MOO. NC15. WTMWP. :scared:

How else is he going to explain why his child was sitting in vomit all day? He wanted them to think the baby just threw up when he pulled over.
Now I am seeing why EMT and LE was saying the story didn't match.

I wonder what time Cooper got picked up from mom. Unless dad runs to the gym after work, why not do the picking up too. I know irrelevant but still I would like to know what time leanna was suppose to pick him up. If dad works full time wouldn't he work a 8 hour day. 9-4 is 7 hours. Wouldn't it be 9-5? Or was he late? Or got out early?

If he did see Cooper at lunch then he needs to go away to prison. I can truly understand how someone could forget a baby but when you have a chance to do something, that is inexcusable. And search about an animal and hot car :/ I'll like to know his reasons for that.

I once saw this moms interview with a detective, on some show, and how horrible she felt for forgetting her child. I wish I never watched it.
