HD headquarters and ChikfilA are at same I-285 exit - Paces Ferry and the area is called Vinings. They are diagonally across from each other separated by the freeway. By auto with 3 red lights it might take you 4 minutes to drive.

If it's what I expect, people usually come up the the most ridiculous explanations when trying to cover.

I think that's part of the confusion. The corporate headquarters are very close to the Chick-Fil-A where they ate.

The warrant lists his work address as 2600 Cumberland Pkwy SE. That is not the address of the Home Depot Corporate HQ, which is located at 2455 Paces Ferry Road Southeast. So, is that the satellite office that is being discussed?

Yes that's what I think. He didnt work at the Headquarters

Fox 5 saying right now 3.6 miles to chicfila and work and maybe 15 min drive.

They just corrected it, said it's less than .5 mile.

Update: Fox 5 just said it was .02 miles.

5:00 pm newscast:

-They believe he was alive Wed. morning
-Drive is only 3.6 miles (see below for more)
-Claims he forgot he was in the back seat and forgot to drop him off at work daycare
-Police have said the distance news reporting is incorrect. Not 3.6 miles, actually less than a HALF mile. (2/10 of a mile)
-Someone conducted search how long it takes for animal to die in hot car.
- Coming up at 6 the #1 reason the suspected him and more details. (Of course.)

Atlanta, GA 30339

Look at this map.
Dad's work pointed out. Now look down for the #407 move in on map a little and you wil see Chick Fil a.
My phone is flaky amd won't let me link both.
It also says.Vining's Crossing Shopping Center
* you may be able to get directions if you input 2485 Cumberland Blvd Chick fil a on this map.

FAULTY report. It's maybe 300 meters between restaurant and HD headquarters.

I wish we knew when that search on the computer was done.

Computer - said "someone" conducted a search about how long it would take an animal to die in a car" they can't confirm when it was searched or if anyone else had access to his computer

Why does the news hold back information??? If you have a report ready for 6pm just tell me now. Other people will still watch later... So annoying - especially since the end up looping the info anyways.

Timeline posted at 4:49 PM today by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

http://www.ajc.com/news/news/breaking-news/timeline-of-a-cobb-county-toddlers-death/ngSSk/

Opinion based on timeline in story:
If he left Chick fil a at 8:55 and arrived at work at 9 (after having JUST strapped the child into the car seat at 8:55 at Chic fil a), he did not forget that child accidentally. No way does a person have breakfast with a child, strap that child into a car seat, then immediately forget him in a five minute drive. I guess there's always brain tumors and weird medical events, but not buying for a second that he immediately forgot the child in a five minute timespan.

Leaks are usually like this, which is why I have a love/hate relationship with them. I'm thankful for new info., but frustrated with partial info.

It's also possible that the police are VERY tight lipped within the department about specifics with the computer search. That might be all the source can glean.

He was charged w/ murder the same day. Would they be able to look at the videos or search results in a 5-hour period?

I find the innerwebs is the best source of news.

NEXT week?
Sounds like he is going to confess. Maybe I should ask is he going to confess?
I thought he was to return the 15th.

If he didn't effectively erase history, it takes about 30 seconds to find a history for the day of...or even recent history. They could have just walked up to the computer and found the information in minutes. I'm sure at that time of day (5-7ish) there are still a lot of people at the building that can pull video right there for them.

I'm not sure they even needed that right away, though. I suspect they arrested him under the suspicion, so that he wouldn't be free while they build their case.

Doubtful- don't need a court appearance to confess. I guess unless its a plea deal or changing your plea? I heard last night on HLN its an evidential hearing...
