But that video doesn't have anything to do with sexting. Quite the opposite. My post was just about the sexting. If it comes in, it won't just be mentioned. It will be a centerpiece. But, as I said, I don't see it coming in, necessarily.
I don't know. I think if he started texting ladies prior to arriving at work and they can prove he was texting them from Chic fil a for instance , I think that is significant and they will come in.
Seems to me like he would be seeking them out and texting them first. I could see him getting the ball rolling while eating breakfast so he had a line up for the day.

The sexting shows problems in the marriage. I see the relevancy.

What if it's shown that the sexting didn't bother LH? Would that lessen it's relevancy?

This case is mind-boggling. I still cannot see how anybody could intentionally do this to their beautiful little child. On the other hand, I also cannot imagine how in the world it could have been an accident. I just thought of this--If RH forgot that he had Cooper in the car with him and forgot to turn left toward the daycare after only 30-40 seconds after strapping him into the car seat and leaving Chic-fil-a, drove to his work place still not realizing he forgot that left turn toward the daycare, backed into his parking space (he could not possibly do that without looking in the rear view mirror or looking back over his shoulder) and still did not see nor think of Cooper, what on earth caused him to remember Cooper on his way to meet friends that afternoon? Did he look in the rear view mirror while driving and see him - maybe a leg, foot, or arm, the top of his head? What!?! If that is what jogged his memory, it is impossible to believe that during the drive to meet friends was the FIRST time he used his rear view mirror that day. None of it makes any sense at all.

GREAT point :) He forgets about him all day then suddenly remembers him many hours later?

Why would it? A wife not minding, does not mean that he still didn't feel trapped. Even in the midst of condoning behavior, you can still want out of your marriage.
IMO, it's pretty clear he wanted another life altogether.

If he is sending photos to underage girl, it would be a felony. Even if it didn't bother his wife (and how many women out there that wouldn't be bothered by it), it'd still be a crime.

I think anything he did that day will come in.

BBM
Harris’s web searches did not surprise the Tuscaloosa police employee who once worked with him. Harris was intelligent and curious, the employee said, and he used the Internet so often that people sometimes called him “Google.”

He told the employee that, in addition to being deaf in one ear, he couldn’t smell. Harris’s partial deafness came out in testimony Thursday, but there was no mention of his having difficulty smelling.

I think I understand what your saying. Just because something makes JRH look bad, it doesn't mean that it's relevant and will be admitted at trial.

Yes. It's the opposite, actually. If it makes him "look" very bad only, and isn't otherwise relevant to the legal issues, it will stay out for sure.

Cooper died while he was committing this felony too.

Yes. That's what I said. If they can prove he did it prior to arriving at work, it will likely come in as proof of a distraction. Just like any other distraction during that time period.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm talking about the felony murder and child cruelty charges.

Another poster has said the age of consent in GA is 16. Not sure whether there's an actual charge there. I guess we'll see.

eta: what I mean is, there may be a different law that applies to sending naked pics to a minor in GA. I just don't know and haven't looked.

Unless the wife knew about a plan and comes clean, this is likely to be a case that is entirely built around a chain of circumstantial evidence...which is fine, legally, but does not always work with jurors. I can easily see jurors opting or believing in negligent homicide, maybe, but not premeditated. There are so few cases of premeditated murder of a toddler that have resulted in convictions on the highest charges that it may be beyond the grasp of many ordinary people.

I'm wondering if there was any plan made for Coopers 2nd birthday, he would have turned two beginning of August?
I know with my three kiddies, if I was planning a party somewhere I have to book well in advance.
I usually send little invites out to friends about 4 week before party and I would have certainly started planning for birthday,
Wonder if there will be any mention of plans they were making? X

Yes, someone mentioned that LH had that info on her pinterest before it was deleted.

Because it would be prejudicial and not help the jury in determining the facts of the case before them. JMO.

Age of consent is one thing, sending photos to minors is quite another.
That already has been discussed.

bbm, He never forgot. Even if he did us the side mirrors to back in the space he still looked in the rear view mirror, I would be willing to bet that he turns toward the center of the vehicle and looks out as well. I turn my head as I am backing up and look out the window, (up or down). When I back up in a space I look out back in the rear view and immediately I turn my head to the center and look out the back, once I have started backing up I then go to the side mirrors and finish backing up this them. He absolutely in my mind saw and knew that when he walked away from that car that Cooper was inside. jmo

He forgot his child in less than six minutes. Six minutes.

And most distracted parents blindly follow their routine. Ross did not. He turned a different way than his routine.

I just don't think the "distracted" excuse will work.

Listen very carefully to the defense attorney questioning Stoddard. They have that all worked out. Typically RH would drop Cooper off before going to CFA. According to the defense, taking Cooper with him was the exception, not the rule.

No.

They went to chifila together 2-3 times a month. On occasion, he would drop Cooper off and go back to chicfila.

That is what he said on the stand. And that is what RH told the detectives.
