I don't know. I think if he started texting ladies prior to arriving at work and they can prove he was texting them from Chic fil a for instance , I think that is significant and they will come in.
Seems to me like he would be seeking them out and texting them first. I could see him getting the ball rolling while eating breakfast so he had a line up for the day.
moo

I want to know when he texted a pic of his penis that day and when he had taken the pic. that day (if he took it that day).

I have a feeling they are probably still trying to accept or deny the information they heard in the hearing. I would not be surprised if most outside of the immediate family have turned, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the immediate family has no idea what to feel.

My guess is he has few supporters right now. I am also super curious who is still behind him.

Go do some FB sleuthing. He still has support from family and friends.

This could be his whole defense, IMO. Is this a regular occurrence, texting ladies all day? Or is it a new thing, something he can use to say "I forgot him in the car"? Super easy to say "whoops I was distracted being a dirty philanderer" because being a dirty philanderer isn't a crime. Well, the whole minors thing notwithstanding...

  • #744
Because it would be prejudicial and not help the jury in determining the facts of the case before them. JMO.

exactly...think of a woman who is a prostitute, and is raped by a john. Her history of prostitution would not be admissible in most cases because it's not probative of whether she consented to sex on that particular occasion and is highly prejudicial. Similarly, if a kid is picked up and convicted at 21 for having dope in his car, that's not going to be relevant to his subsequent murder charge unless, maybe, the person he killed is a drug dealer that he had a relationship with at the time of his prior arrest and actually got that dope from his, as well. And then only maybe. The law tends to look at things in a pretty small vacuum.

Sorry, you can not forget "the whole minors thing" because that what makes it a crime.

No.

They went to chifila together 2-3 times a month. On occasion, he would drop Cooper off and go back to chicfila.

That is what he said on the stand. And that is what RH told the detectives.

Go back and listen to what the defense attorney questioning. I would give you the transcript, but they only did transcripts on the prosecution.

That's a really good point considering how much time it looks like he spent doing this w/o previously forgetting his kid. What was different about this time?

I very much doubt that if prostitute is raped by a john, her history of prostitution would not be admissible. For one, prostitution is illegal.

His defense can try it, but the prosecution can remind the jurors that even without intent, he was negligent and Cooper died as a result; JH claims to be such a careful father and concerned about the possibility of leaving his child in the car -- so much so that he searches the topic and watches a video by a vet just days prior. Why weren't safeguards in place if he's so concerned and he's such a careful father?

Do you really have to ask that question?

That guy gets it all wrong, almost sounds like MaddoxKilgore planted information

Obviously, I mean what was different about the forgetting, assuming there's a possibility he's innocent (which there is, in the eyes of the law, if not in the eyes of random internet posters like myself). No need to drama it up. I'm well aware that the child died.

It seems like if one wants to maximize the opportunities to love Ross, Skout.com and Kik are the places to be, though what with LE taking the phone away I suppose the love connection is on hold.

LOL, post of the day :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Yes, exactly. That question implies that he actually forgot. Which I don't find believable at all.

okay. for the sake of discussion call her a woman with a reputation for "promiscuity." It ain't commin' in. Google pool table rapes

Okay? So I'm not going to agree not to discuss the case as though there's a possibility he's innocent. Not sure where that leaves us "legitimate debate" wise.

New here!

I think Casey Anthony got LUCKY! I don't think RH will be as lucky. He isn't as smart as he thinks he is, and I'm pretty sure he was hoping this would be just "sad hot car death"

Tuscaloosa is a small town, and while hey may still have some some support, I am sure it is dwindling.

And I think even the best parents make mistakes. Two years ago my middle child, who has high functioning Autism, accidentally got left at home by himself for around 7 minutes. He was 10, but we would never leave him home alone. We were running from a birthday party, and had to hurry to get changed and to get my girls to a small dance performance. I literally collapsed on the ground when I realized my mistake. Luckily my husband was almost home, and he was sitting in his room, watching TV, oblivious to being alone.

So I understand mistakes. I had a memory lapse for maybe 15 minutes, but I quickly realized my mistake and I will NEVER make it again :(

Prosecution:

UNIDENTIFIED PROSECUTOR: Now you said that the defendant and child stopped at Chick-Fil-A?

STODDARD: They did.

UNIDENTIFIED PROSECUTOR: Was that out of the ordinary or something they did on special occasions?

STODDARD: No. Justin stated that this happens two, three times a month and it was a daddy-son time, a special occasion for them.

_____

I am going through the testimony, and I seriously can't find anytime that the defense addresses chicfila

This guy gets it all wrong, almost sounds like MaddoxKilgore planted information, but speaking of smell, wouldn't it be great yet horrible at the same time if Cobb PD "captured" the car death smell like Casey Anthony LE tried to do ? I did leave my leftovers in the car by mistake one day , and when I got in my car after work I almost threw up the smell was so bad. I cannot imagine how bad this must have been and to imagine he drove around for m, what was it, two miles, four minutes? Cooper was not leftovers, Mr Kilgore.

Age of consent is one thing, sending photos to minors is quite another.
That already has been discussed.

I missed the discussion, obviously. Do you have a link to the law that applies to sending photos to a minor?
