I really don't believe this applies when the auto-pilot should have been what he did on auto-pilot every day...take his toddler to daycare! If he rarely took Cooper to daycare, maybe I could believe it, but this routine was part if his auto pilot.

Btw, the only time I have ever left my coffee on top of my car was after I had a baby and I was too concerned about making sure he was strapped in well and had his toy, to remember my coffee. I also left my iphone on top of my car and drove over it because my son started crying when I put him in his seat and I was searching for his paci. I never forgot my son because I was too concerned about my iphone or coffee.

Just because it has not happened to you does not mean it can't happen to someone else.

You can get abrasions on the back of your head by simply lifting your head and pounding it backwards.

Or rubbing back and forth until it bleeds.... or CH scratching the back of his own head....

There are 39 deaths, not 39 children left in cars, then add in those who forget in other situations. There are plenty of people around who shouldn't have children--most of whom are not forgetful at all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, everyone, on the verbiage, but didn't we discuss a "reverberating burp/belch" for several pages....? Do I have it wrong? With all respect to JeannaT, I remember at the time thinking, If the defense asks about the possibility of moving a corpse resulting in a "reverberating burp", it will be come one of those quotes.

I still can't get over this statement made by LH:

"Would I bring him back? No. To bring him back into this broken world would be selfish."

Personally, those words right there removed any and all doubt in my mind that this was premeditated and LH was involved. What mother says this? What mother wouldn't do anything in the universe (including trading places) to have their child back?! Defies all logic. IMO LH managed to somehow convince her self that baby Cooper would be better off dead and went along with the plan to accomplish that. The whole thing is just too sick for words.

WHY is this woman not in jail where she belongs? I can only have patience and wait on LE to get their ducks in a row and put this woman in a lovely orange jumpsuit alongside her dear hubby.

He was a perfectly healthy (as far as we know) little boy, so why not wish him back? Of course, growing up with these parents might not be the ideal road, by a long shot.

How long a line of people would we see if we lined up couples who would love to have him, love him, and watch & help him grow up to be a fine young man? Oh how many would we see??

I used to work in lending & finance and I can't tell you how many times I heard that as an explanation for why people were in so much credit card debt -- their plan was always to get all the perks by charging everything and then pay it off.... except that allowed them to not keep track of their spending and go hog wild in most cases.... not all cases though; some people can do that and manage quite nicely.

I can't remember if this has been verified, but I thought he bought an expensive guitar on that credit card? Anyone?

I can't tell you if he put it on a credit card or not but the guitar he bought is a Reverend "Buckshot" model. It's a low-to-mid-range entry level guitar that retails for $750. It's basically a cheap knockoff of the Fender Telecaster, made overseas.
