Anybody who wants a divorce lawyers up. Lots of folks lawyer up. Better safe than sorry.
Getting a divorce lawyer is NOT the same thing as getting a lawyer "lawyering up" so that you won't talk to police!!! There are many different types of lawyers. I'm not dissing lawyers, my own brother is one. A criminal defense attorney does not handle divorces.

Today..parents in SC and a dad in TX were charged for causing the death of their child in a hot car.

Yep and I linked the story to the dad in Tx yesterday, ( or 5 threads ago ) and I wondered at the time if this case swayed LE in the Tx case. That child's death was over a month ago ! So I found it odd they charge him now and am even wondering how many of the ' accidents' of the last several years , were true accidents. ( hot car i mean)

Turn your cell phone camera on and look through it to scan the room. If there are infrared cameras in the walls, ceiling or behind the mirrors you will see them.

Don't believe me? Do the same but aim you TV remote at the camera, press a button on the remote. What just happened?
Pretty cool huh?

All posts are MOO. Sent via Insignia Flex Tablet.

I believe it's very illegal to have cameras/two way mirrors in dressing rooms. Restrooms & dressing rooms are off limits to cameras.

Even with a cheap little digital camera, it will show up.
My daughter and her friends always checked the bathrooms at parties and stuff. They actually found one!
The guy was married and his wife knew about it.
They worked separate shifts so he had a camera aimed in the shower... It recorded on a hard drive and he watched when she was at work... WEIRD!

Yes, but again - it only works if IR is enabled on the hidden camera. It can still operate as a recording device without IR. What I'm saying is that you can't use that trick to be 100% sure there are no cameras - but a lot of places forget to turn off IR - so it is a truly useful trick

Thank you SO MUCH popsicle, for posting this!

THIS is exactly what I've wanted to see

Me too. I also was amazed that RH claimed that he noticed Cooper when he went to make a right turn after leaving work yet, if you look at the maps in the media links, it clearly shows how many right turns he had to make just to get into his parking space.

This is fire-able. Their legal dept may have had qualms about terminating him while just the accused in a crime, but all that sexting on the job and msg back and forth with coworkers about after work plans is certainly grounds for termination. They figured out they were not getting what they were paying for.

You just know his co-workers (the ones he went to lunch with) are sweating bullets and walking the straight and narrow right about now!

It's not illegal if they post notice. My TJ Maxx posts right on the mirrors in the dressing room that you are being watched. Some postings are not as obvious. But take a closer look at the entrance of the door and read the fine print.

That dad was seriously negligent. He is lucky both of his daughters didn't die while he played games.

Recorded? So she was heard saying this in front of police? Man would I love to hear that recording.

They were in an interview room. There is audio and video of the meeting between RH and LH.

I just asked attorney husband, and he said... It's very illegal.

Remember the guy in Texas whose 2 daughters locked themselves in his truck and one died? He's been arrested.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/texas-cops-defend-hot-car-murder-charge-dad/story?id=24504546

Despite his mother's belief in his innocence, Caulkins told ABC News that the sheriff's office does have reason to suspect Lindstrom of foul play.

"An in-depth investigation occurred before he was arrested," Caulkins said.

"With an investigation such as this not all the facts are released. There were other statements he [Lindstrom] made when he was interviewed by [the sheriff’s office] on June 11 and evidence gathered from an evidentiary search warrant issued on Jun 11."

I really, really hope no one jumps directly to starting petitions and charitable funds just yet; let LE do their job before screaming “foul!”

ETA: Oops - looks like SCHMAE already posted a link.

She knew about his cheating. That was made public early on. That is why so many have questioned her involvement. I mean, who gives the appearances to stand by a cheating man unless you are a) messed up b) have ulterior motive or c) Hillary. (Sorry, that one just rolled out) :blushing:

Correction...he said, she knew of his cheating.

This link has much clearer details on what really happened imo.

No I don't! LOL I have a friend who does that all the time. I find it strange.

Seriously shouldn't a person make sure the urinal/toilet isn't in view? :slap:

Apparently some women today have much lower standards...

My word, does anyone else wonder how closely the producers of HLN shows follow the discussion of cases on WS? Seriously, it's like they pull topics right from these threads!!

They do.
Sometimes they will use the EXACT words from a poster here...claim them as their own...never giving credit where it belongs.

Websleuths is a many stomping grounds for researchers, producers and defense attorneys.

I just asked attorney husband, and he said... It's very illegal.

Don't know what to say other than I've seen the sign - maybe it's referring to observation, not recording (?) I honestly don't know. And it's been two decades since I worked retail.

No they don't. that's BS My cousin did artwork for headstones, and books. The artwork doesn't take long, it's the ....................................WHO? that takes so long?

My personal experience has been a good wait for a headstone and they put a stamped metal plate as a marker until the stone arrives.
