Can you please paraphrase

Sure basically it says this guy is a real piece of work, because new/more things keep coming out every day.

I wonder if his wife knew about his Skout profile?

Not only did she say, 'Well, did you say too much?', she also said to Ross: 'I dreaded how he'd look':

Ross told Leanna that Cooper looked peaceful and said, "I dreaded how he would look," Stoddard said.

She didn't say 'I dreaded how he would look', Ross said that.

Ross told Leanna that Cooper looked peaceful and said, "I dreaded how he would look," Stoddard said.

Wait - I thought that dreaded comment was made by Ross?? Can anyone confirm with link?

He said it. Not her.

No link. I watched the probably cause hearing twice and have an above average memory :)

Best I can do...I hate finding links... I'm certain you could find it in the media thread if you'd prefer.

Just wanted to add...that the detective testified that while Russ was waiting to be interviewed, he paced, he rubbed his eyes, he took some deep breaths...
Didn't produce a single tear.

So much for being stoic. I tend to be a private crier. I know all about trying to hold it together in front of others. At the first opportunity to be alone...after the crisis... I am a snotty wet mess.
Not Russ. He was checking out a map...

Yeah, funny that. It's pretty clear all that eye rubbing was intended to give RH that "puffy I've been bawling" look. I think Stoddard also described his intermittent deep breaths as "huffing." Gag. RH's lack of insight and acting skills will be his undoing. I'm just amazed he hasn't been yapping to the press. His lawyer must have him on a tight leash.

P.S. I'm also an after-the-crisis crier.

Yes true. I was thinking of the Spouse saying something incredibly incriminating.. But yep, good point. All these masterminds with diarrhea of the mouth.[/QUOTE

LOL Thanks I needed a good laugh! :blushing:

Wouldn't RH's 5 odd years working with his brother in the police department have exposed him to these practices? I just can't believe they were that naive- not when RH knew the lingo and regularly hung out with his brother, Sgt. Bayrents, at the police department. JMO. And I've certainly been wrong many times before.

I'm always curious how people operate when they are under duress - do they always remember such details when the focus is on themselves at the moment?

I used to work for a dept store, they had cameras and i knew they monitored the dressing rooms- heck. They used to even have guys gathered around the monitor making fun of certain shoppers. I was appalled. Even still there are times I forget this and only after I've made some embarrassing readjustment (usually undies wedgie or something) in the dressing room, I'll remember someone is watching and feel like a bafoon. Just sayin..

I miss quoted and provided a link in my original post:

SORRY!

As to the other quote:

At another point, Stoddard said, Leanna Harris asked her husband what he had said to police.
"She asked him -- she had him sit down, and he starts going through this. And she looks at him, and she's like, 'Well, did you say too much?' " the detective testified.

It was him.

While Stoddard said he heard Harris tell his wife at police headquarters that Cooper looked “peaceful” when he died — after admitting to her that he “dreaded how he would look” — Stoddard said Cooper’s body was stiff and parts of his face “discolored” in a graphic description of what he said the body really looked like.

Try as I might, I cannot figure out why this woman that just lost her son that day would say this. "Did you say too much?" (in the article)

How do you say too much unless there is something to conceal?

I sometimes wish we were privy to the actions and responses of the parents who have left their children in cars. Like the LE interviews of the parents that were actually charged.

The link worked fine for me.

I wonder if we will learn if this alleged "text" was a phone text or IM text (instand message text) from a different service or device. The police will find this out soon enough I guess .

I wonder if this link will work better??? You have to scroll way down the article to get to the part where he asked her about picking up his little buddy...who he knew was dead...in my opinion! You have to copy and paste this link in your browser.

I wouldn't need an att. to tell the truth on the stand,if I was totally innocent, especially a criminmal defense att. If I was innocent, no one could change my truth, not even my hubby's defense att. Guess we know where Cooper's life insurance is going. Did the little guy even get a gravestone?

Will the insurance pay, especially when the father (or family) is suspected in the death? I thought maybe they would be wait and see how it played out, but I don't know, just wondering.
The $10,000 HD gave them should be enough to bury him and get a stone.( I'd guess the costs in AL would be about the same as here in SC.) Unless mommie dear decides that daddy's defense is more important. Even then, the extended family would probably pick up the tab.
I would love to hear where the family is (both sides) after the hearing. Be hard to listen to all that, when you love the baby. Sometimes a family member will feel the need to speak out, haven't seen that happen here yet.

:gasp:That does it, I'm never using a dressing room again! Wait a minute, I'm in my 60's. I'll just give them a really really good show and make them wish they'd never looked..:gaah:

someone asked earlier about LH's demeanor at Ross' probable cause hearing. I found this bit of info:

Leanna Harris arrived before the proceeding began and took a seat with family members, holding hands with the woman sitting next to her. When Ross Harris was brought into the courtroom in his orange prison jumpsuit, she appeared to get emotional.

When Stoddard began his testimony, she held the hand of another woman sitting next to her and at one point appeared to wipe away tears.

She put her head down when Stoddard was questioned about Ross Harris sexting other women. Later, she looked straight ahead without expression. She hung her head again when Stoddard discussed her alleged conversation with day care workers.

Leanna Harris seemed most attentive when the hearing turned to the matter of her husband's bail.

Recorded? So she was heard saying this in front of police? Man would I love to hear that recording.

My understanding from the hearing was they allowed her ' to have some time' with him in the interview room. Who doesn't watch tv enough to know the reason they do that is to watch and listen to what you have to say to each other. Oh well, it worked again. Can't wait to see that tape at trial. (remember Jodi doing handstands?) she WAS one who knew she was being taped.

Omg- laughing so hard. Not at you but I probably am doing the same - making them say "my eyes!y eyes!!"

Taking that with a grain of salt because the media also printed that RH was crying during the hearing.
