I just re-listened to that part of Stoddard's testimony and that's exactly what he said. He did not say he didn't call anyone. He said he did not talk to anyone.

I keep getting booted offline. Typed an answer and lost it. Short version -- his facts stink and he'd likely be sentenced to something. His lawyer would try to convince him to plead -- especially in this jurisdiction. Regardless, though. Even if he didn't take a plea, even a trial on that type of charge wouldn't garner nearly the attention as this one is. jmo

Yep, the only reason this is a high-profile national story is because Ross is accused of intentionally murdering Cooper by leaving him in a hot car.

Ok, so, JRH, NOT ONCE, remembered he didn't take CH to day care and somehow didn't see him in the car until after work.. So what made him realize he was in the car? He didn't notice him during lunch after he buys light bulbs, goes to his car, looks in (See below) and still doesn't see Cooper? Didn't know he was there when he pulled into work, took 30 minutes to get out of car. And yet somehow while driving to go to movies he finally see's Cooper?


STODDARD: When he reaches in, he comes up, he opens up the door. And as he's reaching in, turns his head a little bit. He's in there, he has a clear view, and he kind of turns his head and then just tosses the light bulbs into the car

And Googled surviving prison. As if he is ever gonna be released. Actually he might not survive prison. He's only.it jail right now. The safest place he could be at.the BIG HOUSE is on death row. He won't survive Gen Poo. Not acter how that baby suffered.

I am trying to have hope but I wish it was not such a struggle. Right now I can't shake the nagging feeling that he will not be convicted.

I think I remember Stoddard says per witnesses that JRH was talking to someone during that phone call. I would have to check on that though.

JMO... I am as anxious as everyone else to see how this is going to play out. But so far we know practically nothing of details which is leading to speculation which so far is unfounded. That hearing was just a bind-over and while there was more than enough initial evidence for probable cause to proceed, it was only a partial picture of the evidence that is still being gathered. The defense needs to know what's out there to be discovered in order to counter it. And THEN there's the HUGE issue of who on earth is Leanna Harris???? We have a fairly good picture of Ross, but what a mystery she is! And nobody is blabbing. I wonder if she has her own friends or were they just his friends....I wonder grrrr. JMO

I have not seen the video to make a call, but from what I gathered from Stoddard's statement, it sounds like JRH DID have a clear view of Cooper, why say it if he didn't. I believe that JRH did a quick check in to see how his plan was working with Cooper, to see if he actually was dead. I believe it was on his mind the whole day at work even though people were saying he wasn't acting strange. He had to act normal in order to pull off his plan...

Whatever the appropriate punishment is, it shouldn't vary from 2 years in jail to the death penalty based on whether your car is parked 10 feet over the GA line when it happens, imo.

I get what you're saying but......at the same time, I'm pretty sure it is based on whether or not the case has been proven to be "intentional" or not. I know, there's that word again.

I'm figuring nobody really liked her, you would think by now people she worked with would have said something. Or she is very shy and didn't mingle much with people. Very odd

If people didn't like her you can be sure there would be PLENTY of people talking to the MSM! I think she is shy and quite crafty. And when she met RH the two of them made their own little world, he is the dumb extrovert and she is the quiet, more intelligent and manipulative introvert.

Yes and no. Witnesses at the scene saw him on the phone. JRH had to have known that, he could see these people (witnesses) right? It would be a statement to say I tried to call LH, tried her cell and to find her at LAA. LEO is looking for honesty, not wishy washy versions of the truth. His evasiveness added to the evidence to arrest him and keep him in jail.

Witnesses and officers at the scene with the defendant both said that he was on the phone telling someone that his child had died. He did make phone calls to someone, so indeed he lied about it.

I read an archived news article yesterday from Aoril about a Mom who went to work and then spent the night at her bf's while leaving her 3 year old home alone with a dvd, food and juice. He died after 20 hours alone from ingesting something toxic. Like with Cooper being abandoned, I have a hard time wrapping my head around what this child must have felt.
