You miss the point. The police are saying it is not true.

""You wonder where this stuff comes from," Officer Mike Bowman told PEOPLE on Thursday. Bowman was referring to reports that the child's father, Justin Ross Harris, did an Internet search for how long it takes for an animal to die in a hot car. "

http://www.people.com/article/toddl...s-georgia-murder-police-respond-false-reports

2 other LE officers said it is true. I believe them and not the People article.

So, it is your opinion that you don't believe it. Some do, some don't. That's life.

The Landlord that knew him, and knew their routine?

Seems pretty straight forward to me.

It doesn't to me. I've had tenants and you don't just know their routine. Especially, when they are recent tenants and you have a whole complex.

I don't buy that the landlord knew them so personally, that he knew their daily routine so much, that he knows they switch certain days and what days those are. I call BS and we can agree to disagree.

That is literally the single article I've seen that in, and it floes in the face of the dozens and dozens of other ones I've read. Moving on now.

This reporter is naming their source and their source is being quoted. It is a big difference between that and unnamed sources. IMO

Agree...that is a BIG difference.

They alternated. IT was not always his routine.

"Harris and his wife alternated days for dropping off Cooper at the day care, Saini said."

So their landlord is a stellar credible source in your opinion?
Why do you put stock in this guys statement when the source for his information is the suspected perpetrator of murder? It's, at best hearsay...or he could simply want to say "something" to the media. We all know those types crawl out of the woodwork ...

Yet discount a highly respected reporter with two sources in law enforcement ????

He wasn't a landlord like an apartment complex. These are condominiums. People own them and rent them out. I would imagine after 2 years someone renting the unit to them knew them pretty well.
moo

They were recent tenants and the landlord said as much.

Using OtterPops post as a jumping off point, I just want to remind everyone that WS relies on MSM for it's "facts" in a case. Standard procedure. That doesn't mean you have to believe if you don't want to. That's okay. But for our purposes, that's what we use to establish facts.

Part of discussing is discussing both sides, or many sides, to an issue. It doesn't mean changing other posters' minds. And posters do not have to engage in any discussion that doesn't interest them. You can have more than one discussion going at a time. Engage in the discussion that interests you and scroll through the rest. It's all good :)

Salem

Thanks for this, Salem, but it's kind of difficult when certain posters keep saying things that they believe are rumors, when they definitely are not. Especially when 2 LEO's (through a well-respected reporter) say so.

Me neither! Good find! Not sure why a landlord would know that but seems they had spoken recently so maybe they had become friends.

Alternating days could bolster his story of forgetting to drop him
It could if he didn't have breakfast with him and then 3 minutes later he "forgot" he was in the vehicle. Not a chance, IMO

The difference is that I am taking first hand information that has a name to it. The officer said it and was quoted. It was also said at the presser.

And again, me not believe what RT has to report should not bother or affect people.

But it's not first hand knowledge unless his landlord witnessed it himself, daily.

Haven't read it yet, but here is a big long thread where WS members researched the smell of dead bodies:

And if he does witnesses it daily, he needs a hobby or a restraining order. It's a little creepy!

:floorlaugh: If you and I have both thought the same things as typing things into Google, we CAN'T be the only ones....

Although, can you imagine a Nancy Grace-type prosecutor??? "Sooooo.... You are telling me that you want THIS JURY to BELIEVE that you are some kind of DETECTIVE on the world.wide.WEB? And this was some sort of voluntary RE-SEARCH? Puh - leese. Do NOT insult the intelligence of the jury afforded you by the CONSTITUTION of the United States of America!! And do NOT insult ME! Judge, just cut her mic! I'm through with this witness!"

Don't worry, I'll vouch for ya.

:silly:

I don't know if you are referring to me, or not. I have the same vehicle and our seat WAS put in the middle. That is not the normal position, but we moved it there. I DID say that I could see parts of a child just standing at the driver door and quickly glancing. I DID say that I could see parts of a child while I was sitting in the driver seat. I also said that I am short and when I put something down to make me taller, it made it EASIER to see a child. I can see a child in a huge britax rear facing seat sitting in the driver's seat with my short self. I could even see the kid through the dang tinting when I walked up to the driver side door.

I do NOT believe he didn't know Cooper was there.

I could have been talking about you. After the person posted I responded pretty quickly asking about all the questions I had just referenced and never saw a response. Two different people had posted similar posts regarding testing out the theory. One with a similar car and one with the same make just a model year difference. One for sure was less detailed. I have a Britax rear facing seat and could never and still can't see over the top of it. Its the Marathon model. If I wasn't standing at the right diagonal I could only see feet when my daughter still sat rear facing. I have a mid size SUV. I certainly couldn't see anything juat opening the door to set something on my console unless I purposely was looking to see something in the seat. Maybe walking up to the car if I was looking in to see but not just walking by.

I am still wondering why he was put on unpaid leave on the 18th and how long was that leave?

He was put on unpaid leave the day he was arrested (the day his son died)...June 18th...

and he has not returned to work...he is in jail...:jail:

In fact... He will not be able to attend the funeral of his son on Saturday...

HTH...:seeya:

I think you are forgetting that taking Cooper to daycare WAS his routine. That was not changed by anyone, except the "father" who left him in the car instead. Funny how a 3 minute car trip is enough to make a man forget about the son he just ate breakfast with.

I don't buy it. I never will. The evidence presented supports what is in jail for.

The only way I'd give him the benefit of the doubt is that he was a memory disorder, took medication that caused severe memory lapses or had another medical issue involved. Otherwise, that's very BAD memory for a parent to have. yikes my memory is lousy but I watched over my child like a hawk!

I'm a landlord and our tenants have been there 3 years. I'm pretty friendly and chatty but I could not tell you who drove those kids to school. Just saying...

Her phone, his phone, her work, his work, the daycare if there's a separate provider (as was posted), chik-fil-a, internet provider(s), Akers Mill, the pizza place...that's nearly 11 easy, without having anything new.

Why a SW for Akers and the pizza place?
