...and I would like to add that the witness or witnesses saying that Harris was behaving like he was "acting" or "theatrical" didn't start coming in until almost a week later. The only thing I smelled then was witness tampering. ... And for those beating the drum, no one denies that the actions of the father led to the death of this child. This thread is about more "sinister" motives and is not a memorial to this poor, poor child. I can't drive the a parking lot without being haunted by this terrible tragedy. But the " I can't believe a parent could forget" argument is cliche and is meant for another group. ... Because they do....whether you understand it or not ... Whether you endorse laws against it or not... Approximately one in ten million American humans (mostly children) will die in a hot car a year until some inventor and manufacturers solve it.

You are incorrect. This is a CRIME forum and we discuss the case...all aspects of the case. A memorial thread for Cooper ....ask a mod about starting one if you want.

Officer Bowman didn't confirm it nor did he deny it.
He said I don't know where it came from.
I'm sure he would love to know WHO leaked it.
All IMO

Didn't confirm or deny what? What is "it" in the OP. Bowman confirmed he didn't know where the info came from. So it could have been a 20 year old social media commenter from Alaska. I didn't think it was a rumor before, but now I see clearly that it is since the MSM says the LE spokesman has no clue where the information has come from.

But you make no mention if you can tell me who takes what kids where, on what days, what times, and who picks them up on what days and what times. Anyway, it doesn't actually matter to me.

I still don't put an ounce of weight into what he says. Again, he is not their neighbor and they have not lived there long.

Sure I could if that was what was going on at the house I was speaking of but it wasn't. Now,I can tell you that the people across the street take their kids to daycare at 8:45 am. The father is the one who takes them. They live there with his parents his wife and 2 kids. The grandfather is a school teacher.

And if he does witnesses it daily, he needs a hobby or a restraining order. It's a little creepy!

:floorlaugh: I needed that maybe that's one of the search warrants off my list

We can discuss the entirety of the case, and do not have to discuss only what you feel is appropriate.

Again, doesn't matter to me what YOU can do. He is not a neighbor and not in a position to watch them everyday. If he is, he needs to go back home and get some sort of life.

Seriously...let's move on.

It doesn't mean a darn thing to me if mom and dad switched days dropping Cooper off.

The guy claims that he forgot his son was in the car after eating breakfast with him and driving a whole 3-4 minutes down the road. Pul-ease!

There is no doubt in my mind that Cooper was bright eyed and bushy tailed at that time. Justin knew he was in that car.

Common sense and logic tell me that there are so many red flags in this case that are screaming that this so-called father is a big fat liar.

Let's not forget that pesky murder charge he is facing. It's there for a reason.

Do you believe a parent in general can forget a child is still in their car and accidently leave them there?

Most landlords like that live at the premises.

You asked, I answered. It is normal to know what your neighbors do.

Well, to the extend of what he claims I don't think is normal, and on premisis is not the same as living next door...but I think it would be good if we did move on from this. Agree to disagree.

I am almost hyper-vigilant. I can be anywhere in my house and can tell you which neighbor just got home by the sound of their car door. Jmo

I can too... because my dog barks like someone is trying to break into the house and he scares the crap out of me everytime.

Dr's records? To determine if the boy is healthy, you think? I have not thought about Dr's record.

In four minutes? No.

You miss the point. The police are saying it is not true.

""You wonder where this stuff comes from," Officer Mike Bowman told PEOPLE on Thursday. Bowman was referring to reports that the child's father, Justin Ross Harris, did an Internet search for how long it takes for an animal to die in a hot car. "

BBM: I read the article posted and didn't see the officer quoted as saying it isn't true. What he did say was, " You wonder where this stuff comes from". But maybe he's saying he doesn't know where the information came from". That could mean where the leak came from, if it was a leak. It could also mean he's not heard the info himself. What I do know is that he didn't say it wasn't true. MOO

I think I read that the health of the person helps determine how long they could have survived in the car under those conditions. Medical records would also have doctors notes as to if they ever suspected abuse in the past.

For a few minutes, maybe, yes.

That isn't what is factually available in this case, though.

No. IMO most landlords that rent out condos, don't live there.
My first property was a condo, I lived in for five years. it's now a rental property. I don't live there.
Most of the people that were my neighbors have done the same.

Makes total sense. It's an area I have not thought about, at all.

Everyone can read it as they like. I just think it is obvious what he meant.
