Yes! I hope so. People become oblivous to their surroundings when they go to a location on a daily basis. When I started here I asked if they had cameras all over...He said yes. All over the parking garages, entry doors, hallways, stairwells, etc. Only place no cameras is elevators, offices, and bathrooms. Thank goodness I have adjusted my panties in the elevator before. haha :blushing:

So it isn't just me? Normally it is pulling my tights up, but still.

Why is there not a kid in the car app? You put the kid in the car seat and then hit a button and it sends a message to your phone and reminds you every 10 mins until you shut it off when you arrive ?

There is. $1.99 is a cheap price to pay for a child's safety.

I think that's his shirt collar? The thing I noticed, looking at the photo of the car, you can see into back windows. I can see the front seats/head rests, but I don't see a rear facing car seat. Are we sure Cooper was in a rear facing seat?

Yes according to the warrant. The seat was probably removed at that point. Processing and such. Also, he removed Cooper from the seat.

I can not and my car is in full sun. I can see the outline of car seats but not what is in them.

I have the same vehicle, same body style but a year older with tinted windows and I can see very fine a child in the seat.:moo:

We also have no idea when the pics at the scene were taken. The tent and tape were already up.

Perhaps by the time this photo was taken the car seat had been removed by a tech at the scene? I don't know. I don't see a seat either.
Unlessn in the struggle dad pulled both the car seat and Cooper, then removed Cooper.

I am wondering if they recently searched any other means of children dying besides being left in vehicles. There are so many other things that can happen to children such as drowning, choking, illness, etc. Why were they fearful enough of that to search for it on the internet?

upon exiting the Chick Fil A Ross should have made a left turn at the intersection right next to the chick fil a in order to take Cooper to daycare. He drove straight thru the intersection and made the 3-4 minute drive to his office instead.

That is the first of countless things I find impossible to swallow as a tragic accident.

have you recently feared leaving your child in the car and him dying from the heat?

MOO your recent searches on this child heat death topic were prompted by this case. Theirs were per their own statements to LE because they feared such a thing could happen.

for me that is the difference.

I have kids that are 18 years apart. I have researched it many many times. Including last year when I was babysitting and there was another instance. I did not know about any such apps.

I searched it for the same reason. And knowing that I came close once and that I am not neglectful or a absent minded parent, freaked me out.

I am telling you all who think you could never, It is possible and it is not a choice. It is just an absence of the memory. Not a choice.

Not the one I mean. I mean one where when you put the child in the seat it alerts to your phone immediately.

I just can't see him walking away from a toddler with a normal level of consciousness and thinking what the heck, hopefully no one will hear him crying.

Obviously no one did. I Just keep feeling like Cooper was quiet by this point and was not going to wake up because he was getting hot.
I still think cover up, and he was placed in that seat dead.
But that would mean he was at. chic fil a dead as well, (or drugged)
I am anxious for toxicology results! moo

Me too,! I think little Cooper May have been given something to help/make him sleep. With the comments from his mum that he had been sleeping with them the past couple of nights as he was unsettled, I wonder if that is going to play a part here.
I don't think rh would risk cooper crying out and been heard,

I wonder if there are witnesses from the chic fil that actually saw an awake and alert cooper interacting with dad, or was he been carried and appeared sleepy? X

Like how wet water has to be and how long does a baby need to stay under before they
are no longer able to be revived?
Yeah... I never Googled that either. I just don't believe they were just curious. They were wanting specifics.
imo

Sincere question - why would you have to research it many many times? I don't understand. I get that there's a large 18 year gap between kids but surely the fact doesn't change that leaving a child in a hot car is dangerous ie it was dangerous 18 years ago and it's still dangerous now.

Someone was, not sure if it was both of them or not but someone sure wanted specifics.

I think that is exactly what he wanted to happen and sooner than later. Hence the "how long to die" research. (He knew death would come fast) It didn't happen though. He checked at lunch. Waited some more and hoped someone would see the baby in the back. Again nothing.

Then he panicked. Drove in a stinking reeking car trying to decide where to pull over and make his dramatic discovery in front of witnesses, where he could put on his show.

I do not think that what actually occurred was ever part of his plan. I think he wanted the discovery to be made, by someone else, in his work parking lot. Then he would be notified and could have his breakdown right there. This poor father.....sitting at his desk for an hour and totally forgot his son in the car and he died. How tragic! Etc. Etc. Etc.

That plan ^^^ would ( in his mind) make his "innocent" forgetfulness more believable than 7 full hours of forgetting and then driving around for 10 minutes in a car that stunk to the high heavens. I believe this is where the "my son is choking" comment came from....he was panicking as he had no plan B and was forced to improvise at the end of his work day.

If you think about it, everything that he does after 12 noon makes him look the most guilty. The going into the car....not noticing Cooper. The getting back in the car at 4 and driving for 10 minutes in a putrid vehicle, he didn't smell anything that tipped him off, instead a "choking" (dead) cooper alerted him that his son was in trouble. Without the events from Noon on, we only have a father who "forgot" after sharing a meal with his son at Chikfila.

His original plan did not work.

That is just my opinion.

I have tinting in the back of my van and I can not see if there are kids in the car seats.

back van windows in Georgia do not have the same requirement as this crossover does, in terms of percentage of tint.
